Chandler McCann was having a great time at a party that Larry and his loser friends weren't invited to. Which was a shame considering how making fun of them would make this night better. Oh well, he could just make fun of them once he bumped into him at some point tomorrow. He was unaware of an alternate watching him with a wide smile on their face ready to claim their next victim.

It seems like my target is one of prideful and arrogant types of mortals. Shouldn't be too hard to break him down and drive him M.A.D.

The alternate made sure to look at Chandler's house and kept notice of any opportunities that left him alone and vulnerable. They first started when the others brought the apprentice and those two new alternates to be turned and got the layout and saw that his parents were going to be on a vacation for two months.

Are you sure that nothing will stop you from succeeding your goal?

The alternate turned around to see the Preacher who was just checking in on their progress. Though there had hardly been any survivors from their attacks, despite how that alternate somehow messed up killing his target, they needed to make sure that there would be nothing stopping them from succeeding. 

Of course. I made sure that his parents already left their son alone in the household while on their vacation. Though we may have to send some others to make sure that they don't decide to make an unexpected return.

Good. Now remember...don't mess this up or you will have to deal with our Master.

The alternate nodded before noticing how Chandler was leaving the party so it slowly followed behind him while the Preacher looked on. The boy should be grateful that the Master choose him as the first victim in their quest to take over. Though part of them was worried since they had to make sure that nothing stopped the process before it could be completed. Luckily, no one would notice that something terrible was happening nor check up on the boy before it was far too late.

At the same time, Lori's shout caused the rest of the family to jump up in surprise. What could've happened to cause that? Though most would think that it was probably another Bobby issue, but for the curious among them slowly made their way to her room.

"Lori? What's the mat..." Luan began before Lori interrupted her.

"Ronnie Anne went missing and Bobby and his mother are freaking out." Lori said which shocked them all. They just saw her hours ago and now she's missing like Lincoln. A fact that got Lisa suspicious since it would be impossible for a person to be able to take a child without anyone noticing or hearing anything. She would have to research how this could be possible though it may go into unscientific territory.  Though her thoughts were cut off from Leni who started to speak next.

"We just saw her earlier and she was inside her own house so how could she...." Leni started to say before Lisa coughed.

"Lisa? Do you have any clues on how could've taken her?" Lori asked. It made Luna look at her with disgust since it seemed like she cared more about Ronnie Anne's safety more than Lincoln's. She wasn't the only one who thought this since they had to talk more about this when Pop Pop arrives at the house.

"To be honest, No. Whoever it is has been able to take two children with no one noticing or hearing anything. I fear that they may strike again if we don't do something before the next kid disappears or worse." Lisa said.

"What could be worse than that?" Luan asked. Lisa didn't know and was unaware of the horrifying scene that Chandler was experiencing.

BANG! BANG!

Chandler jumped as the door was constantly knocked on by an intruder. He wanted to ask for police assistance, but the phone was outside of the room. Outside where the intruder was currently banging and speaking to him.

L...Let meeeee Innnn Chaaandler!

"Go away!" He shouted, but the intruder kept knocking and speaking to him through the door.

III haaave a surpriseeee for yyyouu!

Chandler kept silent and slowly backed away from the door. It will be okay...soon, the intruder would become tired and leave him alone...right?

Never knowing that this would be his final moments.
