Hello, I am your guide for information about surviving encounters with alternates. Before I begin, I should warn you that emergency responders will not [REDACTED]. Now that you know...we can begin.

We are being invaded by hostile entities called alternates, more information will be told later. It is important that you all stay in your homes, lock the doors & windows and arm yourself with a ranged weapon. It is also important to place cameras in your house to monitor any suspicious activity. 

Remember to follow the T.H.I.N.K principle if you encounter one of the alternates

T-Tell the authorities 

H-Hinder the alternates movement

I- Identify the class type

N-Neutralize the alternate (if safe to do so)

K-[REDACTED] Quick Note-I am not going to write down what the K stands for. I know what it is and if you want to know too watch Mandela Catalogue Volume 1

It is also important to not communicate with an alternate if one enters your house.

Now, before you try and hold them off. It's important that we go over what the alternates are, the different types and the four known victims of them. 

A. What are alternates?

Alternates are dangerous entities that use psychological warfare in order to drive their victim mad. Eventually, the victim is driven to their limit and [REDACTED]. They are also able to shapeshift into their next victim. 

B. Alternate Types

Type One-Doppelgänger

 Perfect or near identical copies of someone which makes them hard to figure out if they are next to their victim.

Type Two-Unspeakable

Not much information is known about them and the only things known are that they are basically immortal and have possess supernatural powers.

Type Three-Flawed Impersonators

Unlike Type One's, these types are not perfect copies of their victims. They have impossible biology features such as long arms, faceless heads and upside down anatomy 

Type Four-Typa

Alternates that come into existence by the minds of children. It is unknown how whether they come into existence in specific circumstances or anytime. It is important to know that they can come from TVs and Mirrors.

C.Known Victims (That we know so far)

Note: I've taken the liberty to tell you the roles that these victims have underneath the basic information on them.

1. Mark Heathcliff 

The first victim was found in his room after an alternate followed him home after he did a favor for Victim Two. Footage have seen the alternate use their  psychological warfare to slowly break down Mark's mind. He has followed the T.H.I.N.K principle and he eventually [REDACTED]

Role in the Book: One of Lincoln's gifted alternates. Follows his orders with some resistance, but eventually follows through with it. His relationship with (fake)Cesar is strained due to the events during Volume One which eventually lead to his original death. 

2. Cesar Torres 

The second victim and friend of Victim One. He was killed and replaced by an alternate which lead to the events before Victim One's death.

Role in Book: The real Cesar is found barely alive after a surprise attack by the Type One alternate. He eventually recovers and goes on a journey with the Louds to find and confront the Master and his alternates.

The fake Cesar will obey every word that comes from his master and uses his form to taunt and torment Mark. 

3. Adam Murray 

He is a member of the Bythorne Paranormal Society along with (former) friend Victim Four. He has a fascination with the alternates due to his mother's disappearance. He becomes unstable after a dark truth is revealed to him.

Role in Book: He is a devote follow to the master and keeps an eye on Lincoln, Mark and Jonah. He will not hesitate to punish them if they try to do anything that goes against the Master. 

4. Jonah Marshall 

Former member of the Bythorne Paranormal Society and (former) friend of Victim Three. After a bad argument with Victim Three, he drives off only to be found dead by unknown means.

Role in Book: One of the alternates that was gifted to Lincoln. Follows orders with some hesitation and gets along well for Mark and Lincoln. Has strained relationship with Adam.
