The windows were fogged.
I had nowhere to for my eyes to land when my body became nervous, so my knees bounced while my fingers danced back and forth in a game of tag.
His voice was soothing. It drew me from the confines of my own mind to whatever he rambled about in that moment.
He talked about music alot. He said that sang, not in a band or anything. He just liked to sing.
"What do you do in your spare time?" He asked, sipping on his drink.
"I like to draw, I write every now and then, and I play a little piano." I wanted to continue and tell him about my dog, about the way the stars look in July, about how beautiful the ocean can be. But he stopped me.
"You play piano?!" He asked excitedly.
I nodded, and he leaned forward.
"If you play something for me, I'll sing for you until my lungs give out."
