Mason slowly opened is eyes, he tried to sit up, but something kept him from doing that..

"Easy.." A familiar voice told him, it was faint.. and Mason couldn't tell who it was..

He heard another groan.. and the voice said the same word again.. "Easy."

When his vision cleared up, he turned towards the figure..

"K-Kyle?!" Mason said as he sat up, surprised to see his best friend.

"Mason! Your alright!" Kyle said and hugged the heck out of Mason, "I thought you were dead."

"I did die.. But a new me.. Had been surviving.. I'm not who I used to be.. But I'll always.. be your friend." Mason said.

"Thats.. A lot.. Thanks." Kyle said and glanced at Sliver, "I don't know who he is.. I had to get your mom's help.. he was with you.." he explained.

"That's Sliver.. he helped me escape..." Mason told Kyle.

Sliver sat up, he rubbed his head with a soft groan and fixed his gaze towards the boys.. but mainly.. on Kyle..

"Why is he looking at me like that that?" Kyle asked Mason, "No id-" Mason cut himself off.

Sliver then hugged Kyle, and rubbed his back, "Kyle.. It's me.. your dad.." he told.

Kyle was.. indeed surprised, he slowly wrapped his arms around Sliver and stuffed his face into his shoulder, "D-dad? I-is that.. you?" He asked.

"It is.. It is.." Sliver explained and pulled away from the hug.

"I.. I thought you left us.." Kyle told.

"I did.. for you and your mother safety.." Sliver replied.

"Wait... Won't they be.. Looking.. For us?" Mason asked.

"Indeed.. We have to leave before they search towns.." Sliver said and got up.

~Two hours later~

Mason had bags packed up, he learned who to change his forms.. he always forgot.. he wasn't 14 anymore.. he was 15..

His mom got him a watch as a present.. he loved it of course, and a photo too.. he treasured them with him.

"Mason! Hurry up!" Sliver called out as he was putting things in the van..

"Hold on!" Mason said and sighed as he finished the rest of his packing.

He sighed once more and carried his bag to the van and put them up, and his mother came up to him.

"I'm gonna miss you.. When you get settled in your new home.. I'll try to visit." She told Mason.

Mason smiled, "Okay mom." He said and hugged her, "I love ya." He said and gave her a kiss on the cheek.

"I'm all set dad!" Kyle said and placed his things in the van.

"You serious?" Mason asked Sliver, "He is my son and he is coming.. and he is your friend." He said and closed the door and went up to the driver seat..

Kyle got in the back and smiled, and Mason sat next to Sliver.

They said their goodbyes.. and then.. drived away.. so many things remain.. Like who is behind the Mask.. and what is he up to..
