Chapter 1

Terry huffed and laid on the floor of her new flat in London, boxes, posters, and furniture surrounding her.

"Just moved in, the room is a spin." She sang, "can't wait to unpack, but only after this nap." She yawned and curled in a ball on the floor and fell asleep. But as soon as her snores escaped her mouth, she was prodded awake by her friend- and roommate-, Willow.

"Wake up, we have to unpack." She said leaning over Terry, her bright red hair dangling toward the floor.

"Shut up," Terry muttered, "I need this." Terry started to fall asleep again but said, "If you hit me with that pillow, I won't be the only one that's been hit." She smirked when she heard the soft thud of a pillow hitting the floor.

"How do you do that?" Willow murmured laying down next to Terry.

"When one listens and is patient, one can even hear the wind change." Terry said, sounding like Splinter from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

"You're so weird."

"Thanks, now, let me sleep."

"You can get off the floor, and go to your bed. Remember the last time you fell asleep on the floor and your back ached for the next three days?" Terry sighed.

"Yeah,"

"So, get up and go to your bed."

"Or the futon?" Willow rolled her green eyes.

"Yes, 'Or the futon'." Terry smirked and opened her eyes. She grunted as she got up and went to the futon, hugging the nearby pillow close to her and she began to fall asleep.

"You're going to help me unpack later though!" Willow said before she fell fully asleep.

"Yeah, yeah. . .whatever. . ."

Knock Knock Knock

Terry and Willow groaned in unison.

It was the day after they had moved in and both had fallen asleep on the futon watching T.V.

"You get the door." Willow muttered laying back down, Terry doing the same.

"You get the door." Terry said sounding muffled due to her face being planted in a pillow.

Willow groaned and rolled off the futon, knocking Terry off of it in the process. Terry grunted when she fell to the floor. She rolled onto her back and scooted to the hallway, sniggering when Willow stubbed her toe on the door when she was opening it.

"Son of a bi- oh, he-ey, mum." Willow said, correcting herself before she could curse in front of her mother. "What-what're you doing here?"

"Oh, I just came over to see how my two doves are doing, and how they're settling into their new home!" Mrs. Riler said clapping her hands together. She noticed Terry on the floor and frowned. "Terry Nevaeh Travis! Get off the floor and stand straight and tall!"

Terry's eyes widened and she scrambled off the floor doing as she was told. She stumbled forward to stand next to Willow.

"There, that's better. Now, continue unpacking, I expect you both remember that we're going to lunch, correct?" Willow and Terry both nodded. Mrs. Riler's frown was replaced with a warm smile. "Good, I will see you both later. Good-bye!"

"Bye!" Willow and Terry watched as Mrs. Riler walked down the hall. Willow closed the door and both her and Terry slumped against it, sliding to the floor.

"I love her but, damn, that woman is strict!" Willow said laughing, Terry doing the same.

"No kidding. Look, I'm going to feed Quincy, take a shower and get ready."

"You're getting in the shower after me, you slept most of the day yesterday and I did most of the work."

"Right, but, I carried most of the boxes, and I put together the kitchen, the bathroom and let's not forget that Quincy doesn't like getting in a car, so, I had to deal with him."

"Well, no shit you had to deal with him he's your pet!"

"Shut up." Terry said. "I'm still taking a shower first." Terry quickly ran for the bathroom, locking the door behind her. Willow slammed into the door.

"You bitch, ugh, fine." Willow trudged off, muttering the whole time.

Terry laughed. When she finished she could hear Willow mocking her. She giggled to herself and turned on the water for the shower. I stripped and stepped in immediately regretting it.

"OH MY GOD IT'S SO COLD! WHY?! HOW COULD YOU, SHOWER?! WHY-Y-Y-Y-Y!" Terry's wails came out choppy at the end with her fake crying.

"WHY-Y-Y-Y!" Willow's laughter could be heard over the water hitting the floor of the shower.

"YOU DESERVE IT YA BITCH!"

"I HOPE YOU DIEEEEE!"

After Terry's melt-down in the shower, the water had started to get warmer and then it was all good. She stepped out of the shower, and face-palmed.

"DAMMIT I FORGOT TO GET MY CLOTHES!"

Willow laughed again.

"I don't know why you're laughing when I have to walk around the flat naked." Willow stopped mid-laugh. There was the sound of scuffling then there was a knock on the bathroom door.

Terry opened the door slightly and smirked. On the floor was her very comfortable, fluffy, navy blue robe. It looked like the T.A.R.D.I.S. from Doctor Who. Terry quickly picked it up and closed the door, putting it on.

Terry walked out, humming the theme to the Avengers. Willow was sitting in the hallway, her eyes closed. Terry patted her on the head as she passed her on her way to her room.

Terry smirked as Willow shot up from the floor and into the bathroom.

Terry shut the door behind her as she got to her room and she immediately sat down on her swivel chair. She spun around in it, and stopped when she banged her shin against her white desk.

She winced in pain. She brought up her leg on the seat and rubbed her shin as she looked at cage that kept her chinchilla, Quincy.

"Hey Quinc~" the small mammal jumped up on its platform and ran to the wall of the cage. Terry opened the small door and the chinchilla immediately jumped right into her hands. Terry giggled and brought the cute little creature to her face, rubbing noses with it. She placed the animal back in its cage and got the box of pellets that were beside the confinement, she put them in the food bowl and she closed the cage.

Quincy dropped his block of wood that he was chewing, and he dashed for the food, picking it up with its little hands and eating the food.

Terry smiled. Quincy seemed happy at his new home, so she was happy.
