"She's more qualified than DiNozzo," Director Leon Vance explained. "She has all the training."

"Why?" Gibbs barked. He glanced over at the young 15 year old standing cross armed next to him.

"Is this room Secure?" Asked Maddie.

Leon flipped a switch under his desk and a faint beeping came from the room.

"The most secure room on the yard." Leon said.

"I have been a target since I was born." Maddie explained. "But, not as much until I was 10 years old."

"What happened when you were 10?" Gibbs asked baffled.

"My parents were talking about the navel carrier off the coast of The Horn Of Africa, and I found out all the top secret details. When I confronted them, they panicked and went to SECNAV." Maddie said sighing, like she had told this story a million times.

"So how does this context to having all the technical training?" Gibbs asked confused.

"I knew about mission after mission. SECNAV decided that the only way to keep me safe was to give me a navy issued weapon at age 14." She explained. "After, umm, being shot."

"Shot?" Both the director and Gibbs said at the same time.

"I was snipped when I was 12." She pulled down her collar that exposed a circle. "The school thinks that I broke my collar bone. That's what my record says."

She sighed and continued. "I took every NCIS shooting and Intelligence course that I could keeping a low profile."

"She is qualified to become an agent, other than her age of course. Maddie excelled in every one except-" Director Vance explained.

"Hey!" She laughed "I'm sorry I'm 15 and laugh at everything during that I appropriate touching thingy at the work place!"

"Anyway," Leon smiled. "She can assist on this. Trust me. She knows what she's doing."

"Maddie, can I talk to to the Director alone for a moment?" Asked Gibbs.

"Wait Maddie," Leon said flipping the switch back making the faint beeping reappear then slowly fade out as the room became normal again.

Maddie nodded and left the room, closing the door behind her.

"What are you thinking Leon!" Gibbs growled.

"I know you are worried about her. She is completely qualified." The director explained.

"This is not a good idea." Gibbs growled, starting to head for the door.

"And Gibbs," Leon called.

Gibbs turned his head in response.

"Don't get her angry." He ordered.

Gibbs smiled and nodded. He opened the heavy iron door and left.

"Now can I have my gun back?" Growled Maddie. "That's my rule number 6, never get between me and my gun."

"Alright, let's go." Gibbs sighed.

"DiNozzo! McGee! Gear up!" Yelled Gibbs jogging down the steps. "And grab Zivas gear."

"Why Boss?" Tony asked grabbing his partners bag.

"Maddie," he said handing Maddie her weapon in an evidence bag. "It wasn't fired so we don't need it."

"Wait? So she's coming with us?" McGee asked flabbergasted.

"Yup," Maddie smiled following Gibbs into the elevator, walking proudly.

"But she's so little!" Tony said walking into the elevator.

Immediately, Maddie grabbed his collar and forcefully pushed him against the steel wall.

"I suggest you never, ever call me little again," she snarled.

"Okay! Okay!" Tony pouted throwing his hands up in protest. Now who does this chick remind me of? Tony thought as the stuffed elevator closed and the team made their way down to the car garage.
