I made sure the ribbons running up my lower legs were secure and I ran a finger over the smooth black material of my ballet slipper.

We all sat on the couch in the lounge waiting for instructions. Rina came in but no Jenny. "We are going to line up from least to greatest so first we have, The Magicians, The clowns, The Trampoline Stunts, The Tight Rope Walkers, The Animal Tamers, The Chainsaw And Other Dangerous Items Juggling, The Ring Of Fire Jumpers, and last but not least The Puppet." She said and I walked to the back of the line.

We followed her to a giant arena and we all went back stage. The Magicians stood behind the closed curtain.

"Good morning ladies and gentlemen!" The Ringmaster said through the intercom. The audience replied with good mornings. "Our first act is from The Magicians! Please give a hand!" The Ringmaster said and claps applauded.

"Thank you Magicians you created a spectacular show!" He said and the audience clapped then quieted down. "Next welcome our lovely Clowns!" He said and the clowns stepped out.

"Thank you clowns!" He said and the audience clapped then quieted. "Next we have Trampoline Stunts!" He said and the audience did what they did.

The Tight Rope Walkers, animal tamers, and the dangerous juggling went by in a blur and then it was The Ring Of Fire Jumping.

I smiled at James as he and this other girl waited behind the closed curtain. "Ladies and gentlemen please welcome The Ring Of Fire Jumpers, Jameson and Isla!" He announced.

I watched as the rings were lit and I watched as they both gracefully jumped over and over again.

It was about 20 minutes later. "Please give them a round of applause!" He said and they all cheered.

"Before we continue to the last performance you are welcome to grab snacks and drinks for the last performance is the best performance. The last performance will begin in 30 minutes! Enjoy!" He said before cutting off the intercom.

I let out a shakey breath. "Tori you'll be okay! I believe in you." James said pulling me into a hug. "I guess so." I mumbled. "I saw mom, dad, and Eric." He smiled at me. My face immediately lifted its spirits.

Que the music here!

"You can do this." Owen said. "Oh my Tori has grow up so fast!" Raylin exclaimed capturing me in a hug. "Can't breath." I managed out. "Oops sorry!" Raylin apologized.

"Victoria could you come here for a sec." Grinda asked and I walked over to her. "I might be mean, but I believe in you, I want you to leave that audience in awe, okay?" She asked. "Okay." I replied with a smile.

She captured me in a hug and I gave her one back. "Ten minutes before last performance." The Ringmaster said.

I can do this. I practiced a bit more before my appearance. "Now the moment you have all been waiting for!" He said and I stood behind the closed curtain.

"Please welcome Victoria Elise as The Puppet!" He announced and I pulled back the curtain and stepped out into arena and into the spotlight.

Claps sounded everywhere and I look around and my eye caught Eric's. He gave a heart stopping smile. "Que the music!" The Ringmaster said.

I stood silently and then started my slow movements. I crossed my leg behind my other leg and did a half bow. My feet moved with my body as I sped it up.

I did a spin that resulted in holding my leg behind my back and arching it. My arms moved gently to the beat of the music. I made gentle heart stopping graceful movements.

I made a high leap and when I landed I shot my leg up straight in the air and spun. I slowly descended my leg and then I moved my body downwards slightly.

My strings held me as I did another high leap and stayed floating in the air. I did graceful flips and twists. I spun around fast and slowly descended from my mid air mini performance. I arched my back and curled my leg up into me and I left my back one out and as I landed I spun slowly.

I did dangerous leaps and spins but my strings held onto me. I did a 360 spin in the air and landed with a slowly descending spin. I hooked my leg around my back and spun my arms which were hooked in a graceful pose. My arms gave me balance as I hopped from one leg to the other and gracefully landed with my head held high.

And for the finishing I did the highest leap in the air and then spun until my body slowly came to a stop and I bowed right as the music ended.

Claps erupted everywhere. My body was sore and I had forgotten my strings were there when I felt my skin give a light tug as I rose from my bow.

"Thank you! Give a great round of applause to miss Victoria Elise!" The Ringmaster announced and I stood there slightly breathless. "The performers will be standing near the exits as you leave please make sure to congratulate on them for their hard work. Our next show will be in 5 weeks! Good 'aye everybody!" He announced and all of us walked over to the railing near exit and stood behind it waiting for people to come by.

A little girl with pigtails ran up to me and held out a notebook and pen. "Can I have an autograph?" She smiled and I smiled in return. "Of course anything for a princess!" I exclaimed gently taking the notebook and pen.

I scrawled my signature in an elegant fashion adding a heart on the side and handing it back to her. "What's your name?" I asked her. "Maddie!" She smiled.

"Well I hope I see you next time Maddie." I smiled and she nodded. Her mom picked her up and walked away with her.

"I didn't know you were good with children." James said from beside me and I looked at him with a 'stop being stupid' look and turned back around to the people.

My eyes lit up when I saw Eric striding towards me. I smile reached my lips.

Eric finally made it in front of me. "You were, amazing!" He said looking me in my eyes. "The face paint is dry you can go ahead and kiss me now!" I smiled leaning on the rail slightly.

"Greedy mc greedy." He smiled then captured my lips with his. We pulled away. "I've missed this." He mumbled pecking a kiss on my nose. "I have to." Pecking him back on the nose.

"Victoria Marie Elise!" My mom said making me snap out of daze. She came over to me and squished the living daylight out of me. "You were beautiful." She smiled.

"Mother, can't, breath!" I managed. She pulled away and stepped back so my dad could give me a small hug. "Well I'll see you soon my Princess." Eric said giving me a kiss and one on my nose before walking away.

I miss him already.
