Felicity's POV.

The last few days have been wonderful, I've spent time getting to know Kendrick a lot better. If you asked me to describe my attraction to him I couldn't, it's incredible. We can talk for hours and not lose things to say, we have similar tastes in a lot of things and he's incredibly sweet. What I like most is how protective he is of me, a couple days ago when I was taking a walk with Lana we walked upon one of the she-wolfs in my pack trying to proposition him, saying she could please him better than I could and called me a tramp.

We didn't reveal ourselves but stayed slightly hidden, watching everything from just within hearing distance. He was so steady and level headed throughout the whole proposition but the minute she called me a tramp, that's when he lost it. He pushed her away from him and as she fell on the ground told her that he would pick me over her any day, she was just a cheap imitation of the woman I truly was. She yelled back at him calling me a whore and telling him of all the terrible things I had done, bad idea. He rebuked her and told her he knew just what sort of things I had done in my past, but he looked beyond them and knew I would never cheat of him now, the past is in the past.

The minute he said those words I ran from my hiding spot to him, he heard me coming and turned trying to explain. I ignored the girl who was still on the ground and jumped into his arms, happily kissing him with everything I had. No one has ever had such faith in me before and I would do everything just to keep that faith in his heart if I had to with my last breath.

At the moment Kendrick and I are walking around the territory holding hands and just talking about simple things, our likes and dislikes and anything else that comes to mind but suddenly he turns to me with a serious expression. "Felicity, I wish I didn't have to but I need to get back to my pack, I've been gone from them for far too long already" I don't say anything, I just keep my head down, to sad for words. Is he going to leave me behind? Does he not want me as his Luna because of my past?

Without realizing a single tear falls from my right eye, he catches it with his thumb rubbing the wetness from my face. "Why are you crying, my love?" I push harshly out of his arms and walk away, as I do I answer him "you're leaving me, I understand why you wouldn't want to be with me after all I've done. I'm just a slut that you wanted to fool around with for a little while but I would never do that to you. I could never do that to you but you clearly don't understand. I didn't even want a mate, I never knew I could have one but the moment I laid eyes on you I knew it was true. I was so scared that I actually had a mate I took off without a thought." My voice cracks at the end, the pain of rejection too much.

As I finished my speech and before I'm too far away from him I feel strong arms wrap around my waist and I feel myself being pulled back against a hard chest. He places his face at my neck, "you jump too quickly to conclusions, my love. I was not rejecting you, what I was trying to say was that for a little while I need to leave to check on my pack but I would be back for you. I need my Luna and I wouldn't want anyone to stand with me but you. You know I don't care who you were in the past, I know you are loyal to me, don't ever think I doubt you in any way. You are my everything."

Relief washes over me and I just allow myself to lean back in his arms, letting him hold me and comfort me. Hearing his reassurance and being in his arms washing away every insecurity and fear I had in our relationship. After some time he slowly releases me and turns me to face him, "I will be back in four days time, on the third day pack everything you want and need and the next day we will leave this territory for mine. I will always come back for you."

I smile brightly, nodding my head at his words, I lean up and kiss his jaw "Okay, I will be ready. Now if you really have to go, go- get out of here!" I say swatting at him with a smile, "don't I get my goodbye kiss?" he doesn't have to ask me twice, I lean on on my tippy toes and lightly press my lips against his in a sweet kiss that quickly becomes heated as we both try to temporarily sate the hunger we have for each other. I really love how he is 6'5", he turns and walks away leaving me but not before I slap his butt with a suggestive wave as he looks back. I feel his growl more than hear it and continue watching him leave me behind.

After a few minutes, I hear the opening of a car door and it slam as he closes it behind him, from where I stand I can see his car just as it enters the trees to the forest. He has a silver corvette...can't say I don't admire the beauty of it, my mate has good taste.

Just as I turn away a thought enters my head and I instantly tense up, how am I going to explain and leave him? I can already tell that conversation will not be a pleasant one.

I shake is off quickly, divert the direction I was walking in and decide to head for the pack house, maybe Lana will want to watch a movie with me. Right know I just want to avoid going back to my house completely for as long as possible. I try to think positive, in a few days I will be leaving this place and joining my mate's pack, nothing is going to ruin that for me.

I know, I know it's a long time coming...well for those of you who don't follow me I'm sorry. I had sent out a message that week asking if anyone wanted to early updates for this book but no one answered!! (Insert sad face haha) well you would have gotten this chapter a lot longer if you had!!

I was so excited to share it with all of you but since no one answered except my dear friend a few days ago @Werewolf_BookNerd I decided to hold it off, but thanks to my friend she asked for an update and as promised I am posting it today.

What do you think of Licy's playful behaviour?!!!! If you want a second update again let me know! I may just do it! I've got a lot of chapters saved up from writing like crazy hehe. I hope you all had a great weekend!
