I couldn't sleep a wink. No matter how hard I tired, I just couldn't fall asleep. I got out of my warm bed and walked into the living room to catch up on some Amazing Spider-Man, and watch the second movie I am yet to see. But when I walked into the living room, Slick was wide awake staring into space.

"Couldn't sleep?" He's sudden voice almost made me jump.

"How can you tell?" I asked.

"You're awake." He said.

"What about you?" I asked.

"I don't sleep." He said.

"I thought you were tired earlier?" I pointed out.

"You looked tired. Why are you up now?" He asked.

"Don't know." I said and plopped next to him. "But you wanna watch a movie?"

"Sure." I saw him shrug his shoulder through the darkness. I got up and dug through some movies pulling out Amazing Spider-Man. I held it up over my shoulder and he gave it a thumbs up. I pushed it in the DVD player and turned the volume down so it wouldn't wake the others.

"Have you ever seen it?" I whispered.

"No. I saw the other ones though." He said.

"Okay. I'll try not to spoil anything." I smiled. He rolled his eyes and turned them back the the screen.

After the movie I turned the Slick.

"So, how'd you like it?" I asked.

"I think it was pretty awesome." He said. "That lizard guy was rad."

"Rad? Really?" I teased him. He playfully shoved my shoulder.

"Maybe we can get the second one of Red Box. I've seen that one too." I said.

"I would like that." Slick said. I turned to the stove clock in the kitchen which read; 3:47.

"Good morning." I whispered. he chuckled lightly.

"Good morning."

I need cover entrees. Get your buddy to make one, and I'll give you a character and the buddy a dedication or something. Just I think this one could use a new cover. And if you like Maximum Ride, I just released a fanfic on it.
