They rushed Slick away. And I was left to sit with the others waiting. I tapped my heels anxiously in wait, for anything. "I'm going to kill you when you wake up."
"Get some sleep." Artemis's arm grasped my shoulder.
"No. I'm okay." I shook my head. "But thanks."
"I'm not asking. I'm telling." She said. Her hand gave my shoulder a squeeze.
"No I'm okay." I looked up. She had an arched eyebrow.
"Come on." I sighed, but got up. I trudged to my room and close ey door behind me with my ankle. I sighed another deep sigh, flopping on my bee arms out wide. I turned the radio on my alarm clock and listened to the music that emitted from the speakers.
"Rose." A soft knock tapped at my door. I opened my eyes and turned off the music.
"Yeah?" I opened the door and M'gann was standing.
"Slick's awake." My droopy eyes widened.
"Is he okay?" I asked walking past her.
"Well." Her 'well' got me worried, I picked up the pace to a fast jog. When I pushed opened the door I looked around.
"Where is he?!" I asked alarmed.
"He's fine." Kid Flash said. "Just a little shaken up."
"I'm going to kill him!" I said. "Where is he?" He was in a small square room that had a small hospital sized bed.
"Hey." He said weakly with a smile.
"What happened to you? Are you okay?" I sat at the foot of his bed. The others had left.
"Thanks goodness." I gave his hand a squeeze.
"Yeah." He said.
"What? Something's wrong." I said giving him a stern look.
"Nah. I'm fine." He said.
"Don't lie to me." I said.
"No. Seriously, I'm okay." He said. "But are you? You and White Raven don't talk much."

"She's stubborn." I said with a sigh.

"She'll come around." He said snuffling a yawn.

"Get some sleep." I said.

"But..." I scowled at him. "Fine." I sat in a chair beside him well last when he passed out.
