The Dry, Nasty Two-leg air filled Dream's Nostrils in the morning. She stuck her tongue out in disgust as her sister looked at her confused and half worried. " Is something wrong sis?" River mewed sleepy, Dream turned over and looked at her in a stern expression " Yea, this nasty two-leg air is bothering me EVERY morning!" Dream complained but River just shrugged " Hey, you gotta get used to it I don't go to the forest like you," She quietly growled " Because your to scared to explore anything." She muttered under her breath. She saw her mentor pad down the hallway, a Black slim cat with brown eyes, he looked at Dream, his apprentice with a stern look. He shook her off her nest " Get up, you lazy piece of prey." Coal growled at her " I gotta rest remember, my leg got injured yesterday." She smirked at him closely at his face, his face turned to and angry expression and Dream suddenly backed away and smiled with a sorry look. " We gotta go on a patrol unless you don't wanna be a service to ur clan and look like your too weak" he gave her a long cold stare and he then turned around his head was low and his claws were flexing as he walked away. River looked at Dream with a grin " Go, before Coal claws you to shreds." She yawned but said it in a sarcastic worried voice. Dream shrugged and ran to go with Coal on a patrol. As they got back. Diamond, a white she- cat with blue eyes, that was on the patrol was carrying a squirrel and Coal, and Dream were both carrying Rats they both caught. And in the middle of the Bloodclan camp, the rest of the cats were on a patrol and the medicine cat was gathering herbs. The hall was empty and the patrol didn't even notice that Scourge was pinning a brown cat with blinded eyes to the cold ground, Dream's eyes widened she rushed over there as fast as she could she knocked off Scourge off of the brown Tom " How dare you interrupt me! Get out of this camp you traitor!" Scourge hissed at her, his big yellow claws were flexing his blazing eyes were staring right through Dream's soul and the blinded cat escaped and ran out of camp. Scourge growled and pounced on her and Raked her shoulder with his huge claws, her yowls alarmed her sister River. River quickly ran to her but not into the fight, Scourge let her go " I'll spare you but never come back to my camp again..." Scourge growled and turned around with his claws still unsheathed. Dream ran out of camp with her sister they went far way to never return to that horrid camp. It was already past Sundown and Dream and River were wondering around they kept their eyes on any cats that looked suspicious their pads were sore and they were tired, the Night's cold breezes swept over them. " Did you hear that?" River whispered, Dream looked at her with a suspicious look they stopped and Dream kept still to listen to any noises. She heard nothing and looked at her little sister with one eyebrow raised. " Whatever it was its gone now" Her little sister looked around with her ear twitching nervously " Dream I'm not sure it-" her words were cut off with a purr from another cat. From the shadows, a Grey she cat with a Green eye on her left eye and a blue one on her right eye the yellow lights of Twoleg city revealed the cat with a black Bloodclan collar. Her evil grin made both of their hearts beat faster " So what are you two fur balls doing out here alone on the streets?" She meowed teasing them still grinning with her yellow teeth. " W- we're looking for a new P- place to stay" Dream stuttered trying to calm down, The grey she cat laughed " You don't have to be scared little ones I was just joking with ya'l" she softly said with a kind smile on her face. " There's no joking around now! We need somewhere to stay! We need food! Water!" River wailed and the grey she cat's face turned into a frown she gave River a long look " Everything's not gonna go your way young one, they can't just automatically appear for you, you gotta earn them" she growled. River looked up wiping away her one tear with her paw, Dream put her tail on her sisters shoulder and gave her a serious look, the two got up on their fore paws again and the grey she cat nodded at them " That's right you two get up, you need to stay with me tonight, I bet your paws are sore" the both of them nodded and followed her to her place.
" Miss what's your name?" She meowed "My names Mouse" she meowed while looking back on them, when she looked closely at Dream's shoulder she realized it had a big large cut but she just looked to the front again " You better hang on to that cut miss, starting to look pretty bad." She meowed and River looked at her cut her eyes widened in worry soon she was about to burst into pieces " OMG you have a cut! It's Scourge's Fault! He did this to you! I'm gonna tear him up and feed him to the dogs!" She squeaked, Dream looking at her uncertain " No... It's my fault if I didn't do that I wouldn't have this cut, and we wouldn't be here." She looked at her paws " River looked at her with Sympathy but Mouse looked stern " What did you do?" She meowed but Dream still looked at her paws "I got tired of seeing cats die because of us! So I actually saved one... I didn't know if it was right because I was born to kill. Did I do the right thing?" Dream didn't even look at Mouse she just thought to herself out loud. Mouse looked angry because she felt tired of all this confusion Mouse placed her tail under Dreams chin and Dream looked at her still uncertain. " Dream, you did the right thing even thought it doesn't feel right you did the right thing now stop crying you need to stop being a cry baby" She Meowed very clearly and Dream stood up strait and firm while River was laughing at Dream's position. Mouse grinned and looked and turned to the empty hallway " We're here!" She meowed gladly.
