This is my story. Okay,fine,it's my family's story too. We're all in this together,just like we've always been. All of us,from 9 year old Skink,to 16 year old Clarisse,wrote parts of this,each from their own perspectives.

I've never had to do anything like this before, seeing as I normally don't talk much, but here goes.

I'm Nyx. I'm approximately twelve years old. I live with my rather unorthodox family,nine other kids who are just as 'special' as I am. None of us are blood-related,we're just kind of a hodge-podge of freaks who decided to stick together years ago. It just kind of went from there. After all, in Roman times,all of the people in a household were part of the family,not just the blood relatives. That's sort of how our loose definition of family works.

We're like nothing you've ever seen before. That's probably because we're not supposed to exist.

The ten of us-Frank,Clarisse,Molly,Finn, Cruz, Jake,Fia,Skink,Liz,and I-were created through a twisted genetic experiment and raised in dog crates. The result? We're less than 100% human and we have no social skills whatsoever.

We grew up in a lab in California,known as The School. When we were really young, they started raising these human-wolf hybrids we call Erasers. A pretty fitting name, given the fact that they want to erase us from existence.

But I'm not lying down and giving up just yet. Heck,I'd fight till my last breath. I'm a regular Texas rebel. (Long story)

That's why I'm telling you on the behalf of my entire family. The public needs to know what's coming. So keep reading. Share this book with your friends and family,anyone you can. Whatever you do,don't stop.
