This time, I'm gonna show you how to intertwine text with objects!
Like this thing below . . .

Now, this type of edit is really easy and it can be done on any editing app or software! Plus, it's kind of trending nowadays and makes your edit look real cool! So, I thought why not add it to our tutorial book?😇

Note: I'll be using Photoshop for this as I don't have other apps. But as I said before, it can be done in any app or software!

Okay then, let's get into this!

First, open up the image you wanna edit on your preferred app or software!

Now, create a new layer and type out the words or letters that you want!

I suggest that you create separate layers for each letter or word. That way, you can move the letters/words around freely and place them wherever you want!

And once you are satisfied with the placement, merge all the letter/word layers. Or you can put them into a group too if your app/software has a grouping function!

In my case, I've put the letters inside a group.

Reduce the opacity of the merged letters/words layer around 40-50% so that you can see the main image below through the text.

Now you can use 2 methods!
i) You can pick your eraser tool.
Or
ii) You can use the layer mask option if your preferred app/software has it.

For now, let's go with the eraser one!

Okay, so now you need to zoom in to get a better view of the letters and the objects -- in this case, flowers. Once you get a good view, decide which parts of the letters/words you wanna intertwine. Like, in my case, I want to intertwine the rose-stem with the letter O.

Now pick your eraser tool and erase parts of the letter/words to make the objects (flowers) pop out.

Here's a better view of what I did...

As you can see, I wanted to intertwine the rose-stem with O. So, I erased some parts of O to make the stem visible.
Then I erased some more parts of O to make some other flowers visible. I also erased parts from L, E and V.

Once you are satisfied with the erasing, zoom out and increase the opacity of the letter/words layer to 100%.

Now, it's time to add some shadows.
Create a new layer and clip it to the letter/words layer. That way, the shadows we are about to paint will only affect the letter/words layer!

No need to worry if your app/software doesn't have a clip/clipping mask function! You can still paint the shadow manually and erase bits of it later!

Now, pick a soft round brush and reduce the opacity to 15-25% and choose black as your foreground colour.
Start painting on the erased areas, under the popped up flowers/objects. One dab is enough. It would look as if the flowers are casting soft shadows on the letters/words.

If the shadow is too thick or too dark, just reduce the opacity of the layer and you are done!

So this is how you can pull off this type of edit!😊
