Driving to a new home

More sirens came as an ambulance drove up rushing in. The police took Salem into the car, a wide smile was on her face. As the cops began to drive away she could see her parents dead bodies being taken away, her smile became wider and an evil look in her eye... She was happy. "We have the young girl" said the cop in the passenger side into the walkie talkie. Salem stared out the window in accomplishment, she saved her and her brother... Well... She wasn't positive how saved she was, but all she new was the pain was over, her parents are dead! She smiled even wider at the thought. The cop looked behind to see Salem smile, he looked confused and felt uneasy with the way she was smiling, "w-why are you smiling? Y-you killed your o-own parents....." He said a bit afraid, he was a young cop, in his early twenties I believe, Salem looked at him with that evil look "I know they're dead, and I couldn't be more happy about it" she said as if you were staring at the devil himself, the cop gulped and looked back forward as Salem looked back out the window, the cop looked more scared as he turned to the driver; an older cop. "So what are we gonna do with her?" Asked the young cop, the older cop said in a deep voice "gonna take her to somewhere, someone like her belongs..." He said glancing at Salem in his mirror.

It was a few hours later and it was about midnight now and Salem was asleep, she slept so peacefully, probably because she knew her parents can't hurt her as she slept. The cops were in a forest now, it was a thick forest. The road wasn't a proper road, it was just dirt and grass, but there was some small plants on it like no one has drove on it for a while. In the distance there is an opening, it was very open with a mossy play area, with swings, a slide and a seesaw. But there was a high and big building, it was an asylum. "Here we are" said the older cop, the younger one looks at him "why are we here?" he asked with a sense of fear in his voice, the old cop looked at him "because, this is her new home" he said as they both looked back at sleeping Salem.
