Friday
It's the end of the day and it's time for Jason and I's date! I walk out of the school with Jason holding hands. We walk to the park next to school and we sit down on the bench. Jason leans over and kisses me on the forhead. I then lean on his shoulder. "This is nice," he says.
"Yeah," I agree.
"You and me, no one to bother us or blackmail us. Just us and nature. It's perfect." He replies.
"Jason, I know we are only in sixth grade and have only known each other for one week, happy one week anniversary by the way, but I love you. I truly love you Jason." I say.
"I love you to. So much I can't even express it with words." He replies.
"Can we make a pact that we will never date anybody else unless we really feel they are perfect and we drift apart?" I ask.
"I was gonna say the same thing." He replies.
"Ok. Good."
"I love you Tara." Jason then kisses me and we just sit there, kissing each other. Not a care in the world. Not a care that we're only twelve. It doesn't matter. This is love and I know we both know it. This is perfection.
I break away. Jason looks a little suprised at first. "I need to breathe!" I say defensively.
"Ok, I understand. Have I ever told you your lips taste like peaches?" He asks.
"No, I was not awar I have a peach mouth." I laugh. And we sit there, looking at each other and laughing. I then stop and look at him for a moment. His twinkling eyes, his soft skin, his sweet face. It's all too good for me. But I'm fine with having it.
"Do you want to grab some food at that little cafè?" Jason asks.
"Sure. Let's go." I reply. Jason and I get up and run to the cafè on the corner. I get a frappachino and Jason gets a vanilla steamer. We get a fruit bowl to share. We sit in the outside seating and start to eat our fruit. I spear a piece and feed it to Jason. He laughs and it makes me laugh too. I lean over and kiss him on the cheek. "I love you, Jason." I whisper to him.
"Let me try to explain how much I love you, Tara," he starts. I lean back in my chair. I have a feeling this will take a while. "You are my stars, my sun, my moon. You are who I get up to see in the morning. You are my passion. My obsession. My life is complete with you. I don't know how i lived and survived without you. i love you more than i love the sea, more than i love me. You are the world to me."
I gasp and smile. I stand up and kiss him like I've never kissed him before. I slowly end up sitting on his lap and we stay there, kissing for ten minutes. it ends too quickly. I look at the time. "I got to go. It's almost five. I love you Jason." i say.
"Bye. I love you Tara. Text me when you get home." he says.
I nod and run home so that I can text him. I love Jason and hope I spend the rest of my life with him.
