Ice gathered some berries in her bag, while Kyendrea was gathering some water in her rusty can. Ice examined the berries, then gave it a quick sniff, making sure it was safe. Once she threw out the badberries, she decided to help Kyendrea with the water. 

She rushed over to the silhouette, but the river. But as she got closer and closer, she realized that...it wasn't her partner. She looked around, and noticed that Kyendrea was on the other side. But...who is that other guy?

Ice crept closer, and realized that he was a boy. Her murderous ideas popped in her mind, but she pushed it away. She had trouble with others. 

She clumsily stepped on a twig, as he turned around. Ice flinched. He growled.

"Who are you?" He asked grumpily. Ice wanted to return the favor.

"Why should I tell you, fatty?" He snarled. For some reason, Ice laughed. Not to mock him...but...She blushed. What is she thinking?

"I'm in a group. Call me the leader." Ice boasted shyly, even though she wasn't really. He rolled his eyes.

"Well, me too." He retorted. God...he was annoying. So...their is another group? At least he wasn't trying to kill her, so he must be good.

"I'm Max." He blurted out.

"I'm Ice." She murmured. She turned to look at Kyendrea, who was with someone else.

"Well Max, maybe you should meet my group." He nodded, his brown eyes twinkling.

"Sure, then you can meet mine."
