Chapter 2

Still don't have own any of the pre-mentioned media.
"Half human and half what?" he asked like he was dreading the answer. "God."
~Harry's POV~
I don't knew which is weirder. The police box, or the man inside. As his box created itself around me, he grabbed my arm, pulled me close to his face, and inspected me. As he was dragging me out, he suddenly stopped and asked why my face looked like I had seen war. "Because I have," was all I could think to say. How could he know? "No you haven't," he said it like he knew I what I would say. "Yes, I have. I fought in the Titan War." For some reason, I had to argue. I didn't want this man thinking I lied. I had fought in the Titan War, but not on the front lines. He quickly took out what he told me was, I think, his "super screwdriver". Maybe super wasn't part of the name. I'm pretty sure it wasn't. He scanned the salt shaker with it, and it to deactivated, or turned off, or whatever. He seemed to know what he was doing, so I figured he also know what they were. "What was that thing?" He seemed surprised that I didn't know, then muttered something about humans bring ignorant. "A Dalek." Well, that was helpful. "Aaand, what's a Dalek?" He sighed. "The most hateful things in the universe." "Are they robots?" He laughed mirthlessly. "No, but they can be programmed. The Dalek itself is really a squashy little pink alien. What you saw was a sort of case, armor that it controls telepathically." "Do their voices actually sound like that, or is that just the armor?" "Oh, no, that's their real voice." "Huh. So. How do we fight them?" "What do you take me for? You think I'm going to let teenagers fight the most hateful beings in the universe? Not a chance." "Augh!! I've trained to fight monsters since I can remember, and now some British weirdo barges into my life and tells me I can't defend the one place where I'm almost appreciated?" I threw my knife beside his head into his precious Tardis. He let out a tiny squeak, then hurried to remove it. "What was that for?" "Oh, I don't know. Walking in on children of gods and expecting a warm welcome? Telling outcasts that they can't protect the one place where they're actually normal? Take your pick! Just make sure it takes you out of here." The Doctor gazed at me with huge, heartbreaking puppy dog eyes. I sighed, then snarled, "Teach us how."
