Chapter 10.
Leah slowly climbs down the tree and gives Carol a soft hug. Alexander leans on and hugs them both, "We should probably send King home by tomorrow, is that okay with you, King?" Leah nods while letting of Carol.

The three of them all walk back to the well and they all jump down. Sliding, they all land at the base of the fort. The rest of the pack stares silently at them as they all stand up while staring back. "We have decided that..." Carol starts, "That King will go back to her home, tomorrow."
Everyone gasps and frowns as Leah steps forward. Everyone stands in a line as she gives them a hug. First, it was Ira, "I'll miss you." Leah says, sniffling quietly while moving on to Judith. She hugs Judith as she hugs tightly back. Letting go and staring up at Bull. "Will you tell nice things about us, King?" He asks with an innocent and calm voice. "Yeah..." Leah says with a nod.
"Thanks, King." He said with a smile, as Leah moved on to KW and Douglas.
"Even though I haven't gotten to know you that well, I'm sure you were a great King." KW says with a smile, showing Bob and Terry to Leah.
She hugs KW and steps over to Douglas, "Sorry for denying you, King... I didn't know you meant it when you told me the sadness was gone..." Leah leans in and hugs Douglas, "It's okay, I forgive you. But I'm sure you'll all be okay without me." She finished, as she lets go of Douglas.
Leah runs over to Carol while wrapping her arms around him, "I'm going to miss you the most, Carol."
Carol hugs her back with his huge claws and hesitates, "Where's your crown?" Leah remember that she dropped it from running away from Carol, "When me and Alex were running from you, I dropped it and didn't get the chance to grab it."
Carol let's go of Leah fully and walks over to the corner, as everyone's eyes follow. He bends down and grabs the golden staff. He then cups Leah's hand while placing it into her palm, "Don't forget us, King." Leah nods while firmly holding the staff into her small hand, "I won't.
The group then throws themselves onto the ground one last time as they all fall asleep peacefully.
✿ ✿
They all woke up to the sound of morning birds chirping. Leah groans as she sits up and rubs her eyes with a yawn. "Morning."
Everyone else leans up and stares at Leah with a frown. They all stand up while Carol sets Leah in between the horns on his head, "Time to go, king." Leah sighs as they all start to head towards the entrance.
The group one after another, climb up the well and stare outside as the wind blows through their hair/fur. They all stood silently as they all start to head into the edge of the forest, where Leah first started.
After they all stood at the edge of the mountain, they all stared down at the boat that was hanging on the shore. They all slide down and make it towards the boat. Douglas pulls the boat with one arm; since Carol ripped it off, and Ira pulls it with both claws.
They pull it towards an open area and lay it down. Carol then sets down Leah onto the sandy surface and they hug each other one more time, "I'll miss you, King." Leah tightly hugs his back while starting to tear up, "Me too, Carol."
He finally lets go of her, picking her up and placing her on top of the boat. Everyone silently watches as she drifts up and down. She then stares with a light smile at them before Carol pushed her off. Carol kicks the frontside of the boat and she starts to sail away slowly in the current.
She then starts to howl as everyone else does the same. Bob and Terry start to squeak and make bird noises; (whenever you don't know where to put here...)
Leah smiles as the rest of the group shoots their arms up into the air. (Scene: Sailing Home).
Leah watches as the figures of the pack get smaller and smaller as they finally disappear and vanish. She then sighs with a smile and turns back around at the front of the boat. The waves were calm and soothing and not too rough for it to crash the boat.
✿ ✿
The boat changes from it dirty weak wood, back into the rug floor in Leah's room. The ocean folds up for the walls in her bedroom and her clothing changed quickly from the monstrous outfit Max wore, back to jeans and a black jacket.
She frowns as she finally realized that she's back into her bedroom, and her whole adventure was just a fake reality that she created on her own. She sighs while resting her chin on top of her arm as she stares out the window, with sorrow in her eyes. "I won't forget..." She whispers silently to herself.
Staring down at the golden staff at her feet, "I won't..."
