Lance walked down the hallway, for once he had a small smile on his face. He had a plan.
As he walked into his Chemistry class, he paused as he spotted Keith. HE'S IN THIS CLASS!? Lance nearly fainted as he sat down beside him.
Keith didn't look up at Lance, and he seemed to be doing something on his paper.
Lance craned his neck to see better, and blinked in surprise as he saw a well detailed picture of a flower. Woah! He's really good!
"Do you mind?" Keith grumbled as he looked at Lance.
Lance felt his face go red as he looked away, "Sorry! Sorry!" He quickly pulled out his phone.

Lance: Hey, Pidge? Hunk? Shiro? You guys there??
Hunk: Unfortunately yeah. What's up?
Lance: I think this kid hates me. I'm trying to talk to him, but he seems a little distant.
Hunk: oh hell! Lance! Your trying to make a friend!!
Shiro: Hunk, Language. Normally you're not the one to say things like that.
Pidge: Yeah Hunk, Wtf.
Lance: GUYS. WHAT DO I DO!?

Lance looked up from his phone as his teacher came into the room and began to take attendance, then looked back at his phone.

Shiro: Just be calm, okay?
Pidge: yeah, be the opposite of you.
Shiro: Pidge. No. just, Lance, be yourself. But, don't make any unbearable puns please.

Lance smiled slightly, then paused as his name was called,
"Lance McClain?"
"Here!" He called. The teacher looked at him, annoyed, then read through the list again.

Lance: Okay. Here goes nothing.

Lance turned off his phone and slid it into his pocket, looking up at Keith. Keith kept drawing, not noticing Lance look at him, and sighed as he set his pencil down.
Lance looked at the drawing and gasped in amazement, "Woah! That's so good! How did you do that?" He whisper shouted.
Keith only shrugged, not making eye contact with him, then paused as he heard his name.
"Keith Kogann?-er- sorry, Kogane?"
The students in the class began to laugh as Keith turned red in embarrassment.
"He's here, Mrs. Strayer" Lance called, hoping Keith wouldn't say here, so the class wouldn't point at Keith and laugh. "Alright" She said, clearly annoyed at Lance, and continued through the list. Lance thought he saw a grateful look flash through Keith's eyes.

"And that's all for today! have a great week!" Mrs. Strayer called, and students began to stand up and leave the room. Lance took out his phone,

Lance- changed its named to-Im Gay and I know it.
Pidge: Nice name Lance. WAIT. DO YOU LIKE THAT BOY YOU MET?
I'm Gay and I know it: No!!!

I'm Gay and I know it: Okay yes I do, but what do I do?? he seems to hate me right now!!
Pidge: Just talk to him!

Shiro: Well, Lance, I'm sure you can spark up a conversation.

Lance put his phone away in his pocket as he walked out the door and looked to his side at a sign on the wall reading "Dance tryouts." Lance smiled, I'll Have to do that-
