Paper cut

It doesn't hurt – it's just a little cut.

You don't know about it until you see your blood.

When you see it, you wonder: "How could this tiny lifeless paper cut human flesh?"

How could it harm you when you did nothing to it? The only thing you wanted to do was

Just to write on it, share your moments, writing your ideas, drawing, and even solving somethings.

You didn't harm it. The only thing you wanted to do was to fill it with your knowledge.

Don't say that you think you hurt it by pressing your pen to it, 'cause you didn't. You know most of the ones which cut us are the blank ones.

Ones which we hadn't known before. We hadn't had the chance to write on them yet,

So why do they hurt you? That's what you wonder, right?

Then, let me tell you a thing:

Imagine the paper as a person you've just met.

You don't know him/her, but you want to know them.

You want to share your thoughts with them, make them know who you really are.

So do they. But, some of them push you away and sometimes hurt you with a word.

Just like how the new paper cuts your hand,

It's a natural defence.

Like how humans act to the unknown to them

But, yet, you accepted what happened and started to write on it.

You don't realize that after a while, the new paper became one of the old, once you've put so much of you in it.

It doesn't cut you anymore, because now it knows who you are and knows your pen. And their cuts made you who you are - a piece of art.

So, just as how you deal with the new paper, you should deal with new people. I'm sure they will stop cutting you and become one of your precious papers that you save close to your heart.

That's the thing. :)
