So, just a little warning: this story is not going to end with a Brucas endgame. The story will end with the same couples as in the show. The only thing that will really change with them is that Lucas and Peyton will come back for season seven after traveling for a bit or whatever. I haven't really decided what they'll be doing, but they're coming back.

There's also a particularly special( and maybe already apparent ) new addition that involves a( platonic ) Lucas and Brooke.

That being said, this story( maybe a book for each season; I'll decide later ) starts in season five, as the main character-Zoe, we'll be calling her-will be four years old then and it's easier to tell the story from her perspective if she's old enough to take part in it. It's going to be a bit confusing, at first, but I hope to add flashbacks-similar to how season five was in the beginning, covering the four years that we'd missed-to make everything a bit easier.

For a little bit of a timeline before we start, I'm going to say that this story is based around the idea that Brooke actually was pregnant during season one, but lied to everyone and told them that someone else, aside from Lucas, was the father. It sounds a little far-fetched, going into it, but I'm probably going to switch a bit of what canonically happened in the show around to make my little storyline more plausible.

I should probably also mention that I got the basic idea to make this story from Brucas123 on Fanfiction.net. I don't even know if she has a Wattpad account, so, I'm not even pulling your leg or whatever when I say that Broken is incredibly addicting and well-written. I read the last( current ) chapter first by accident( I thought it was a one shot ), and that was so good that I had to go back to the beginning-which usually never happens. I'm the asshole that typically skips to the end 😂
