I found myself panicking once I couldn't find my pencil case, seconds before our test was going to begin.

I looked around me with desperation, my eyes landing on that same boy that was so intriguing to me.

"Hi, can I borrow a pen for the test? Please?"
Hopelessly, I leaned towards him and asked.

At first, he was startled but he then flashed me a warm smile, his arm extended as he reached for his bag. He pulled a pen out and handed it to me.

I couldn't help but smile.

I mouthed thank you, just because I couldn't get myself to speak to him.
