Jake walked to Sara's office. He wanted to apologize about what he said last time he saw her.

He let the door scan him, and it opened.

"Sara."

Sara turned around. She looked shocked to see him.

"Jake? What are you doing here?"

She looked distracted, like Emily was when he saw her a few hours ago.

"Is everything okay?" he asked.

"I'm so sorry."

"What is it?"

She sighed. "Please don't be mad."

"What is it?" Jake asked again. "Is it about what I said before? About us breaking up? Because I didn't mean that, I don't want to  break up with you, I love you!"

"You love me?"

Jake realized that was the first time he had ever said that to her.

"Yes. I love you." he said again.

"I love you too."

They kissed. Sara broke away.

"What is it, Sara? Tell me. Whatever it is, I can fix it. I can't lose you. You're one of the best things that ever happened to me." Jake said desperately.

"You can't fix what happened, Jake." Her eyes were filled with tears.

"What is it?"

Sara took a deep breath.

"Jake," she explained, "I'm pregnant."
