Before you guys start reading I just thought I'd say that this book does need editing. I was young when writing this and reading parts of it now even I'm like wtf. so please leave all negative comments to yourself and one day I'll come around to edit all this.

Also yes I know it's adoptive and not step😊 so stop pointing it out.

"There she is" they hollered chasing after me.

Shit shit shit shit fuck.

"Hurry up she's getting away" once again, one of them hollered out.

I didn't stop, no infact I ran faster.

I don't plan on getting killed today, nope.

Not only that, but i quickly climbed a massive tree then sat on one of the thick branches as I don't want to fall and break my cover.

"Where'd she go?" One of the many hunters who where chasing me asked.

"We don't know boss" one of the guys said back to him.

So he's the boss.

"Well you better fucking find her, and fast, or I'll fucking kill you" he spat out angrily.

That guy need to learn that you speak not spit.

I watched as the group of hunters started to look around close to where I was up in the tree.

"Come out come out wherever you are" the boss said in a taunting tone which sent a wave of fear through my bones.

I watched as the 'boss' got closer to the tree I was sitting in.

I'm so fucking dead if he looks up.

I let my eyes drift away from his form to see where the rest where.

He was the closest one to me meaning he was the most dangerous one.

'that guy gives me the creeps' my tiger snow said in my mind.

'ive gotta agree' I said agreeing with what she just told me.

The guy stoped all a sudden which made my breathing Holt immediately

Slowly the guys head started to tilt upwards in my direction.

Oh, no.

I'm so dead now.

I really hope he can't see me.

Just before his eyes made it to my form in the tree, one of his men came running towards him.

"Boss we found a trail of foot prints heading east of here" the guy said as he heaved from all the running that he just did.

"Well what are we waiting for. GO!!" the so called 'boss' said before they both ran of in the completely wrong direction of me.

I let out the breath I was holding, then tried to calm my racing heart.

'we should get back, our stepparents are probably worried' snow said in my head.

Sighing I got down from the tree and not waisting a second before heading towards my house.

I should introduce myself.

Waddup i'm Jared i'm 19 and I never fucking learned how to read.

Joking.

My name's rain Thompson, i'm a rare tiger shifter, which you've probably guessed, my tigers grey and white but has black stripes but mostly grey, which is very rare even for tiger shifters.

Not that I've seen any, I've just read about them.

I'm 18, 5'8, both my parents are dead, I never really knew them so it doesn't really bother me much.

They both got killed by hunters when I was 5, I had to watch the hunters kill my parents, let's just say, that's why i'm scared of hunters.

I went into foster care for a few years before I was adopted by Mrs and Mr Thompson, they are really kind people.

They also know about me being a tiger.

You see I first shifted when I was 10, it was the middle of the night, I of course had no clue what was happening, it was very painful if I am being completely honest.

My step parents heard my screams of pain before running in my room and literally watching what happend.

Anyways they're cool with it.

And I think that's all about me.

Wait wait wait.

I forgot my hair like literally matches my tigers coat, well the colours do anyways.

And there NATRIEL.

taking one last turn I watched as my house come into view.

Immedieltly I shifted back, my clothes still on my body as i'm a bit different I suppose.

I walked to the front door of my house before walking in.

I was instantly hit with the smell of my stepmom's famous beer burgers.

Seriously the best burger I'll ever have.

(I've been watching too much BBQ pit boys on yt)

I shut the door before kicking my shoes off.

"Honey, is that you?" My mom questioned from the kitchen.

"No, it's your friendly neighbour hood tiger" I said jokingly, I heard her laugh slightly from the kitchen

"Mom, I've got to tell you and dad something after dinner" I told my mom seriously as I stepped into the kitchen.

"What's wrong honey?" She questioned worriedly.

"I need to tell you and dad together" I told her and she nodded.

"Well dinners almost done so why don't you go get your dad" she said.

"Yes my queen" I said bowing for extra effect, I heard my mom laugh again.

I jogged outside to the backgarden where I knew my dad would be.

My dad liked to work on his car a lot.

I jogged to the garage which was in the garden for some strange reason I'll never understand.

"Hey dad" I said once I made it to the doors of the garage.

My dad slightly hit his head on the hood of the car as I gave him a fright.

"Sorry" I said apologetically, he just shook his head with a smile on his face.

"What do you need honey?" He questioned while putting the spanner down.

"Dinners ready" I told him smilling back.

"I'll be there in a minute, I just need to wash up" he said, I nodded before jogging back inside to the kitchen where my mom was.

"He said he'll be a minute" I told her and she nodded.

"Alright, why don't you set the table" she told me, I nodded getting everything I needed to put on the table.

Which was literally just a cup each because who eats a burger and chips with a fork or a knife or even a spoon.

If you do your evil and are not okay at all.

I got the drink out the fridge which was just some 'juice'.

Once I had finished my dad had walked in and gave my mom a kiss on the head.

"And burgers are for the go" my mom said putting the plates in there respected area aka infront of our faces.

I immedieltly ate all the chips which were good but not as good as this burgers going to be.

I picked up the massive burger, I moaned as the smell hit me like a truck

I took a massive bite of the burger and immedielty moaned as all the flavours invaded my mouth at once

Without a second thought I devioured the burger.

Once I had finished I sipped away on my drink waiting for my parents to finish there meals so I could tell them about what happend today.

After 10 minutes they had finished everything and my mom was looking at me expectingly.

"Right, something happens today while I was on my run" I stated and immediately my dad sat up in his chair while my mom looked at me concerned.

"As I was running some hunters had found me and chased me through the woods, me being in my tiger form I was faster than them but they were good trackers" I said then took a breath so I could continue.

"I made a quick desicion and climbed a tree, they all looked for me and their boss almost caught me, the guy was really creepy" I said to them, there faces immedieltly erupted with worry.

"This isn't good James" my mother sighed as she put her head in her hands.

"Your right it's not" my dad said sighing also.

"It looked like he was going to get me no matter what" I told them.

"James we have to leave" my mother said and my dad immedieltly nodded agreeing with her.

"Yes, and as fast as possible too" he stated before standing up.

"I'll go look for somewhere we can move to, as for you two, go and rest it'll be a long day tomorrow" he said before kissing both mine and my mom's cheek before leaving.

"Oh honey am so sorry" she said as a tear slipped down her cheek.

"It's alright mom" I told her while pulling her in for a hug.

"Now let's head to our beds" I said with a yawn before heading in the direction of my room.

Once I got to my room I crashed on my bed exhausted from my day.

I had school tomorrow but I don't think I'd be going after what happend this evening.

'i hope he doesn't find us' I told snow truthfully.

'if he does I'll rip his head off' snow snarled out.

'please do' I told her back.

'Im going to bed now, night snow' I said before getting changed into my PJs then getting under my covers.

A sigh left my mouth as soon as my back hit the bed.

Not long after I was out like a light with only one thing on my mind.

Will he find us?
