Chapter One

A small white Eevee pushed her way through her brothers and sisters, finding it difficult due to her size and how crowded the house was.

It's been years since the young white fluff ball had fled the scene with her mother and her newfound Flareon mate.

Things were going fine.

Or that's what she convinced herself anyways.

In reality she was sheltered from the outside world, scarred by what happened with the human and the Luxio to where she convinced herself everything was all sunshine in rainbows.

In reality as nice as her family was it was falling apart.

Her parents were the only normal thing about her family as well as her Umbreon sister.

Her mother had pushed away her past, and instead embraced the future.

Any mention of the past was dismissed almost immediately.

She wasn't allowed to mention her brother Eevee. He was probably still alive, but her mom wouldn't let her speak of such things.

Today, it was a normal day. Or as normal as it could be.

Her sister, Neri, was away somewhere.

She has been friendly with an Espeon male and has been hanging out with him way more often within the last four or five years, and Fae honestly didn't think much of it. They were the best of friends, and Fae couldn't be happier for her younger sister.

Her younger sister was around sixteen-eighteen years old. At least at the time. Now, she was around twenty one-twenty three years old.

Time flew when you had fun.

She forced herself to always look on the bright side of things. It always kept her innocent.

The doctor says she has psychosis. Or some form of it anyways.

Fae didn't believe that ridiculous stuff.

She respected doctors, but if she were to disagree with anything it was the fact that she had psychosis. She was completely normal.

She remembered the first day after moving in with Ezekiel. It was a horrible day.

She shuddered, but then shoved it at the back of her mine. She didn't want to remember the bad times.

She remember having severe anxiety attacks, thinking the Luxio and his human were there coming to finish them off.

It was only her imagination.

After that, she pushed everything negative out of her mind. She didn't want to remember the one that killed her siblings.

Heck, she didn't want to think of anything bad. So she repelled it.

"What's for breakfast?!" The horde of Eevees, and other Eeveelutions wondered loudly.

The sound of the voices chorused and ricocheted around the humble abode.

Many Eevee, ranging from the colors of brown, silver, and even a lone gold one surrounded their parents.

"Hey, hey, hey! Stand back. Everyone's getting their meal." Ezekiel rumbled with a chuckle, though it was clearly a facade through his tired Flareon eyes.

Five years ago it had only been her and her three other sisters plus one brother, but now add about fifteen to twenty new children and you've got, well in short, chaos.

Her parents still babied her beyond belief, but they had many other children.

Talk about a workload.

Fae was an adult at this point, but she never went anywhere without either Izar or Ezekiel. They told her it was dangerous to go out alone.

She agreed with them totally.

It was better to stay inside than to go out and explore.

She loved the outdoors, but the inside provided her with more sanity than the outside ever could.

Her parents told her that the Luxio would find her if she went back out there, and it was better to stay inside and hide than fight.

Like a good girl, she listened to her parents.

She always stayed inside while the rest of her siblings went outside and played with Pokémon like Purrloin and Shinx.

She was left out of most everything, but that was okay with her.

At least mom and dad have someone to stay at home with them while they are home alone.

Fae smiled.

Her life was perfect. Nothing could go wrong today or tomorrow.

The Luxio wouldn't ever find them, and Fae was certain their house was well hidden.

She settled down at the table, watching as her siblings all left through the front door.

"Bye! Have a great day at school!" She cheerfully barks, waving at them as they left with a happy smile on her face.

She remember it was years ago she had graduated from school, though she was the only one who was homeschooled for a bit.

She shrugged as her parents hid a newspaper from her.

It wasn't any of her business to stick her nose deep into politics anyways. Her father told her politics would corrupt her brain and she would become toxic because of it, so she listened to it.

She smiled, tail wagging, as her parents  placed a couple pieces of toast in front of her.

She dipped her head in thanks and ate the toast without any jelly.

She was too excited to see what today would bring anyways.

Perhaps her sister would return for a visit, or perhaps they would get a surprise visit from Bailey. She was a female Vulpix who visited her strange sister, Nike. The two talked about spooky stuff together.

It was all confusing to Fae.

She didn't understand the hype of being spooked to death.

They got her almost every time. Unlike her sister, Neri, who always said the jumpscares were cliche.

Nike was around ten years old.

"So, what do you plan on doing today, Fae? Today is your 30th birthday. Do you want a party later? We can set it up while your sisters are gone. Unfortunately we can't have a surprise party, but we can celebrate it." Izar wondered with a soft smile.

"That would be lovely! Will Neri be here?" She wondered.

Her parents exchange a worried glance.

"I don't know, sweetheart. Neri has her own life now outside of us. She doesn't have time for us anymore. I don't know if she can make it." Ezekiel told her with a soft frown.

Fae noticed her parents swallowed.

"Plus, you have many other sisters and brothers. Wouldn't you rather have a birthday with just them? We don't want to bother Neri and her Espeon boyfriend." Izar remarked.

There was that word again.

Boy friend? Isn't it better to say best friend? We already know that the Espeon is her boy friend.

Fae gaped at her parents for a moment before shaking off the bad thoughts and the images of blue fur running at her.

She wanted to see her sister. She really wanted to see her. She felt disappointment well inside her.

This was the fourth year in a row she didn't get to see her sister.

She was sure she was fine. Neri was a strong and resilient young Umbreon.

Fae just couldn't help but feel saddened that her sister would rather spend more time with her best friend than her own sister.

Sure she had other siblings, and she knew she shouldn't be selfish, but she couldn't help but feel slight negative thoughts at wanting to see her sister. The fact that she wanted to see her, but couldn't made her feel a pang in her heart.

"Then couldn't we visit her?" Fae wondered in desperation.

Fae noticed her parents froze despite not being hit with an Ice Beam.

Immediately her parents started to deny going out.

"No, Fae, we will not go and visit her. Look, we know you love your sister, but your other siblings are great too. Appreciate them while you still can. Remember your brother?" Izar asked her.

Flashes of blue fur popped up and Fae's eyes widened.

Did her parents seriously have to bring him up?

She didn't get adopted like her brother did, but she wish she had. She didn't want to witness leaving her hundreds of siblings while they got destroyed, wailing to be spared by the man with the Luxio.

If only they survived. If only that man didn't choose Genocide. If only Fae could have done something about it. Anything.

Nope. She's stuck here with her parents.

She shook her head again.

No, my parents are wonderful. They've taken care of me when I was at my best and my worse. I shouldn't doubt them. What's happened happened. Nothing could be done.

Fae gulped as she nodded.

"Of course I do! He's still alive." She told them, determinedly.

Her parents shook their heads.

"Forget I said anything about him, Fae. The real world is a dangerous and scary place, Fae. You must stay here with us. I know you want to visit your sister, but  we don't want anything bad to happen to you." Izar barked as she approached the shiny, pulling her to her yellow body with a passion.

Fae hummed with happiness as she hugged her mother back.

"I understand." She mumbled through her mother's fur.

Her mother smiled.

"If it makes you feel better, we'll give her the word, and see if she can make it in time. No promises she can make it, though." The Jolteon told her.

The two pulled away.

"Really?"

"Of course! I miss her too, you know."

Author's Note: Just a clarification there may be some mistakes, and I might have to age up Fae and Eon to what I had before. Which I already have been trying to age them up in this story.

Fae was originally supposed to be sixteen, but she's supposed to be older than her siblings. But I wanted Neri to be 16-18 years old by the time the EspeonxUmbreon came around.

So yeah. Anyways let me know your thoughts on this story. Also yeah. Fae being 30, yet acting so innocent is a shocker, but I originally didn't intend for this to happen.

I actually switched up Fae and Eon's ages to where Fae is now older because of circumstances.

I think Eon is just a couple years younger though, so he's probably at least 21 or older.

Anyways thanks for reading! 😆😀😁
