He was pacing in the centre of his soul room near the door. Every now and then stopping to look at the door then start pacing again. The only sound coming from his leather shoes hitting the ground as he went. He runs his fingers through his tri-coloured spikes. His mind swimming with thoughts. The time was nearing when he would face Yugi in one last duel before he joined his companions in eternal rest. One thought stood prominent from the rest

"Joey..."

He continued pacing thinking back on all of the memories he had with the taller blond male. Joey had stayed by his, and Yugi's, side through everything and he had appreciated and admired Joey for it but before he could realise his feelings for the blond changed. It started back when Yugi's soul was taken but Dartz and he had sunk so low he didn't think he could get out until Joey punched him and made him see more clearly what had to be done. Since then he had found himself constantly thinking about Joey and his heart would start pounding in his chest.

He continued pacing through the soul room debating in his head. Should he tell Joey how he really felt? I he don't do it now he wouldn't get another chance. He swallows his pride and stops at the door of his soul room. He places his hand on it and opens it closing his eyes. He opens them to find he had taken over Yugi's body. He makes his way out of the game shop and makes his way over to Joey's house. He walks up to the door and stares at it for what seems like forever. He swallows his nerves and slowly lifts his hand knocking on the door.
