Bear fell asleep next to me. I just kept driving. I kept reaching down and running my fingers through his hair and softly scratching the top of his head because it helped me calm down and certain times.

Especially when I sensed something and I heard one of the males thoughts and found out he separated from the group to do a search in fact all of were pairing off or going off separately this one just happened to be closest to us.

That made Bear sit up really fast and he slid really close to me and wrapped a arm around me.

He even had his gun out now. He reached over and turned off the lights off on my truck and put his arm back around me and sat back and closed his.

I felt him focusing right now. He just blocked my mind. He knew exactly what to do.

He is getting better at this all on his own now. I just smiled and just focused on what I was supposed to do.

My eyes widened when I saw a protection shield wrapped around the truck and I looked at Bear but he was still sitting there with his eyes with his eyes closed focused.

I went back to what I was doing again. Then I saw him put his gun away from the corner of my eye and he took his arm away and sunk down and just went back to sleep next to me.

I just kept driving with my lights off. It's been hours now and I finally felt safe enough to turn on the lights or I thought I was.

But just as I did I slammed on the brakes terrified out of my mind to what I saw standing in front of my truck and I was frozen in so much fear because I could see it's thoughts.

"THUMPER!" I snapped my head around and looked at Bear. All of a sudden my mind was blocked.

I fell against him. Then I heard and felt a loud whack on the front of my truck.

"OH HELL NO! NOT MY BABY!" I shifted into reverse and started driving in reverse really fast and then whipped my truck really fast and shifted into first and took off spinning my tires floating through gears with my lights off again and I was whipping around tree's and taking routes I should not be taking.

"Not touching me that's for damn sure!" I said. "For now on just keep my mind blocked no matter what promise me Bear!" I told him.

"I can't promise you unless you stop!" He told me. I slammed on the brakes really fast.

"Why?" I asked him. "Because I can't seal the promise Thumper if you're driving! I promise you Thumper I will keep your mind blocked!" He kissed me and a shockwave went through us and he sealed the promise to me and I went back to driving.

Didn't take me long to speed up back up either! Yeah I was lucky! All I could do is smile right now.

I sat up really fast! "I KNOW HOW TO SAVE MY DADDY AND YOU CAN HELP ME BEAR!" I started doing my Indian call and tipped my head when I did it.

"About damn time Thumper! You can't keep doing all the damn driving by yourself you to start taking care of yourself because if you keep this up your going to completely I don't know I just feel something wrong and it's not good Thumper let me help you please!" He told me.

"Okay Bear! On one condition first!" I told him. "Anything Thumper! Now tell me the condition please!" He told me.

"Are you really sure about that Bear? Think about this a second this is me after all. REBECCA RENEE MASON CLEARWATER!" I told him my whole name for the first time.

It was quite for a minute. "YES! TELL ME DAMN YOU THUMPER DON'T MAKE ME REGRET THIS!" I started laughing.

"You asked for it! Let me in show me everything I did you and promise me after it's the whole truth and it showed me everything!" I told him.

I smiled a whole new smile when I was impacted like that and my whole body slammed back against the floor like that with a shockwave like that and I saw everything.

Then he kissed me and sealed and I told him I promise him the same thing and it was a double whammy.

Both of us busted out laughing. Because when I did it I wrapped my little arms and little legs around him when I did and I was hanging from him upside like a monkey now.

He got up on his knees and I was still hanging on to him and he was still laughing at me.

Then I climbed him like a monkey and went on his back when I sensed something outside the truck.

Bear hand automatically went behind him and was on my leg.

He was letting me know he sensed it and got down on his knees he pulled me over him and pushed me underneath the backseat and he climbed over to the front seat and I heard him start the truck.

I was laying on my belly when I realized what it was and he was doing for me!

He hid me! He was the only one that get me out of here right now in a hurry so I just showed him what to do and closed my eyes and just laid my head hoping to God we got away I screamed when I felt my truck get hit by my feet!

"HANG ON THUMPER!" Bear told me. I reached up and grabbed the bars underneath the seat then I pushed myself up and braced my feet on each side of me as I did the spits then I moved my hands and braced them against the top of the inside of the seat.

"OKAY GO!" I yelled out and he took off. I still had my squeezed shut because I was so focused on what I was doing and keeping myself in one spot I didn't have time for anything else or feel or sense anything around me.

I trusted Bear fully to do this and with my life and so I just put all my focus into doing this one single thing he told me to do.

I was doing this for him!
