Chapter one

The great hall was quite as everyone waited for the Hogwarts champions Name to appear . The goblet lit up and a piece of parchment came floating out. Everyone held there breathe as the headmaster Dumbledore read out the name .The headmaster is in a quiet and powerful voice although his bright blue eyes were practically twinkling. "BEN POTTER".

There was complete silence until the Slytherins started shouting. A short chubby boy with red hair and hazel eye with round glasses stood up from the Gryffindore table and walked to the headmaster. He was practically oozing smugness and arrogance.

"Silence !" the headmaster shouted and immediately everyone quieted down. "Now that we have our champions we will-" the headmaster was cut off as the goblet one again lit up and a piece of parchment flee out. Dumbledore looked at the parchment for a second before his eyes flickered to his potions master Severus Snape before clearing his through and calling out "Anastasia Rosaline Marie Snape".

There was silence and everyone turned to look at their potions master professor Snape and watched as he paled before standing and saying in a deathly calm voice " she will not be competing" glaring at the headmaster . a surprised look fluttered across Dumbledore face before his eyes started to madly twinkle .

"I am truly sorry my boy but is she doesn't compete she could lose her magic" Severus glared a moment longer before storing out of hall cloak blowing around him.

Chapter 2

The Hogwarts staff all sat in the headmaster albus Dumbledore office after the goblet chose the champions . Minerva McGonagall was extremely surprised and shocked but was the first one to snap out of it "Severus is this Anastasia related to you? And if she is how why didn't you tell you us?"

"This is the reason I didn't tell you would all be in shock and yes she is related to me she is my daughter. Anastasia will not competing in some stupid tournament to get injured or even wore killed! Severus said in a deathly voice .

"I'm really hurt you didn't tell me you had a daughter Severus I could of sent gifts" said a smooth velvet voice. The voice came from a handsome man with dark wavy hair tied up into a low ponytail and royal blue eyes which momentarily flashed a bright crimson he was absolutely gorges with pale skin with pureblood features , a sharp nose and high cheek bones . this man was the defense against the dark arts teacher Tom Marvolo Riddle also lord Slytherin and most richest man .

" well im sorry for not telling you all about my personal life my daughters life is not your business but just so we can get this out of the way she is 16 and was homeschooled her mother dumped her on my doorstep one night and I found her the next day . the most important reason nobodykniow is because she is wanted she's being hunted down for her blood and I will not put my daughter in danger!"
Most of the staff was shocked but pomfrey the school healer asked who is hunting her
Severus answered in a cold voice " Non of your business"
Gasps went around the room no one had ever seen Severus's so angry or protective before .They all kept quite not wanting to anger the man anymore.
