Shivaay and Tia's married life goes downhill when he realizes that she has been lying to him, even about petty things. Even though there is no concrete evidence, he is convinced that Tia is cheating on him. His attitude towards her changes, which becomes a cause of concern for his friends. They try in all futility to talk sense into him, but his anger towards Tia increases. Things come  to an ugly turn when Shivaay abuses and embarrasses Tia in a party they are attending.

Tia heads back to their home and Shivaay follows. Next day,Shivaay learns that he brutally killed Tia in front of his uncle TEJ SINGH OBEROI. A case stands in the court he is given a lifetime sentence. Unconvinced of his guilt, he asked his lawyer  and friend DUSHYAN for help. Shivaay promises DUSHYAN the power of attorney of his property in lieu of helping him escape. DUSHYAN helps him to escape, but backstabs him by fleeing with the money and leaving him for dead.

Shivaay is saved by his friend Anika and nurtured back to safety and healthy. Determined to exact his revenge on DUSHYAN, Shivaay zeroes the location of latter in Malaysia. However, heis stunned to see Tia there ,hale and alive, living with DUSHYAN. He also narrows down and confronts his own uncle TEJ SINGH OBEROI, who confirms that Tia was having an affair with DUSHYAN and that he helped the duo to remove SHIVAAY from their life.

An enraged Shivaay kills his own uncle TEJ SINGH OBEROI and sets out to seek revenge. First he confronts her, creating fear and panic in her heart. She tells about him to DUSHYAN  ,who is sceptical and thinks that Tia is losing it. After Tia realizes this, she has a fight with him. Later, Shivaay creates a rift between them, paying them back in their own coin. Unaware of all this drama, an inspector is sent to find Shivaay, who is still assumed to be missing.

The inspector also turns up in Malaysia, following the trail. Here,DUSHYAN accidentally runs into Shivaay and realizes that Tia was true. Tia is on the verge of breaking up, and DUSHYAN becomes afraid that she might spill the beans. DUSHYAN and Tia attend a party, where she almost lets the secret out. They have a confrontation and turn to go home, just like it happened with Shivaay. They go into the parking lot, where Shivaay is patiently waiting for them.

Shivaay knocks Tia unconscious and kills DUSHYAN. Next day, Tia regains consciousness and finds that she has been arrested for killing DUSHYAN. Based on the circumstances, Tia is found guilty and given life imprisonment. The inspector, who has deduced all the story by now, meets her in her cell and expresses his satisfaction over her plight. Shivaay too meets her one last time, after  which he meets Anika, indicating that he will start his life a fresh with her.
