Luke's POV

"I'm not going to rehearsals today. I can just practice before the show." I told Ashton through the phone.

Why? You need to practice mate.

"Don't worry. I just need to do something important." I said as I hung up.

I got out as soon as I can to Arzaylea's apartment.

I knocked on her door and she opened it with a smile plastered on her face.

"Hey Lukey." She said.

"Can we talk?" I asked seriously.

"Why so serious? Come on inside." She said as she gestured me to come in.

I sat down on the couch and so did she.

"So what are we gonna talk about?" She asked.

"Arzaylea, if you have any bad blood on me, please don't include my band for your revenge. Punch me, kick me, expose me I don't care as long as you won't hurt my best friends. This is only between me and you and not them." I said.

"What do you mean? I haven't done anything!" She said defensively.

"I'm just asking you a favor." I said. "Please just le--"

"I don't know what you're talking about." She said.

"I thought you loved me, Arz."

"I do, Just come back to me Luke. I can't live my life without you." She said, pleading. "I promise. I won't cause drama again."

"I--"

Ashton's POV

"Hey Ash? Where's Luke? We're suppose to be rehearsing a few minutes ago." Calum said.

"He won't be showing up today." I answered.

"Seriously?" Calum groaned.
"What is wrong with that man?!" He flopped on the couch.

"Well, might as well practice without him. We'll just hope he doesn't fuck up." Michael said as he took a sip of his beer.

"Well, he did tell me that he's gonna practice before the show." I said.

"Maybe he's off to see Arzaylea again. Hasn't he learned a lesson yet?!" Calum said.

"I don't know mate. Probably he's just smoothing things out with her." I said.

"I'm gonna punch him right in the balls when I see him. He needs to fucking wake up to his senses!" Calum said with an angry tone.

We spent the rest of the day talking and arguing and rehearsing without Luke. He's been really off lately. I thought he's back with us after that thing with Madison Rayleigh but after we got back here, he went off again. He's been so far away from us even though he's just there. 5 Seconds of Summer isn't the same without him.

Luke's POV

I didn't agree to what Arzaylea wants. I can't just go around following what she wants. Yeah I know this means war but I have to stand up to myself. I'm the man here not the other way around! I went to the apartment me and the boys are staying here in LA.

"Luke!" Ashton exclaimed as he saw me standing in the living room. He was holding a bowl of popcorn in his hands while he's in his boxers.

"Hey." I said.

"You son of a--" Calum said as he was about to punch me in the balls.

"Woah woah!" I said as I backed up with hands up in surrender. Calum calmed down.

"Ok." He breathed.

"Ok?" I said.

"WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU?!" He screamed.

"Let's just calm down okay?" Ashton said.

Calum sighed and went to sit down on the couch and watch some tv, leaving me and Ashton behind.

"You know I don't want to let our fans down." Calum muttered.

"Why didn't you go to rehearsals today?" Ashton asked.

"I settled things with Arzaylea." I said.

"Oh really?" Ashton said in disbelief.

"Yeah."

"You finally found your balls to do it. I'm proud of you man." He smiled and tapped my shoulder. "Wanna have a drink?" He asked and I nodded.

So me, Calum and Ashton hung out for a bit, watched a movie and had some drinks.

"So, is everything ok now?" Ashton asked.

I just shrugged.

"It's not over, isn't it?" Ashton said sadly.

"For you guys, it is. As for me, it...isn't." I said.

"What do you mean?" Calum asked.

"I told her to stay away from you guys. I told her that if she wanted revenge or something, it should be me she should bother, not you." I explained.

"Luke, we are a band. Bestfriends for a long time. We're like family now." Ashton said. "You can always count on us to help you."

"Thanks man." I said. Somehow, those words were the ones I really needed to hear. It gave me hope and courage to face reality and even face my fears.

"We'll show her that she shouldn't mess with us." Calum said.

Then suddenly Michael showed up.

"Hey guys. Just went downtown to meet up with a friend and--" he stopped and stared at us while he was removing his shoes. "Uh--did I miss anything?"

"Yeah. Get your ass over here!" Calum said. "I know you went to meet with that girl named Crystal."

"Yeah, so what?" Michael  chuckled.

"So you like oldies now?" Ashton snorted.

"Shut up. She looks fine af. She doesn't look like 30 at all!" Michael sat down and bumped Ashton playfully.

So we talked about everything and explained to Michael the situation.

"Well, let's just hope for the best things to happen." He said. "Touring starts tomorrow. We should get to bed."

"Yeah. Goodnight everyone."

Ashton's POV

I jumped to my bed and lied down face up.

Damn, all these things are happening so fast and crazy.

I better call Skye today. Skype would be great.

Calling Skye Parker...

My screen lights up as her face face shows up my screen.

"Hi baby." I said.

"Hey sweetie. What's wrong? You look a little down." She asked in concerned.

"Oh nothing. I'm just tired I guess." I lied.

"Stop lying you idiot. I know you."

"Okay you got me." I raised my hands up. I told her about everything.

"Oh. I see. Just don't mind it Ash. Everything's gonna be alright."

"Is that daddy on the phone?!" I heard a small voice on the background.

"Yes sweetie." Skye said.

"DADDY DADDY!" Aly's small face filled up the screen. "WHEN ARE TOU COMING BACK?"

"Hello princess. Daddy's still working, but I'll be back as soon as I can." I said.

"YAY!"

"What do you want me to buy?"

"DADDY I WANT A PRINCESS DOLL!"

"Okay, a princess doll it is!" I laughed.

"YAY!" She laughed.

"Okay now daddy is going to rest now. Go play with your toys." Skye said. "Say bye bye to daddy."

"Bye bye daddy. I love you." She said and ran.

"I love you too princess." I smiled.

"Hey you need some rest now Ash. You still have a show right?" Skye said.

"Yeah."

"Go get some sleep. I love you. Just call me if you want to talk. Good luck on your show." She smiled.

"Ok baby. Goodnight. Take care always." I said as I put my phone down.
