I had so many thoughts running through my head. One thought I had was that this was my long lost big bro, but mama said he died in a fatal car crash. I started to tear up but I wiped my tears Quickly. We walked outside to the car I looked at him.

Melina: "Which car is yours ?"

EJ: "The red lamborghini mines."

Melina: "How can you afford a car like that one?"

EJ: "All you gotta do is stack the paper and save it."

Melina: "So what do you do for a living that helps you stack paper and save it?"

EJ: "See I'm an enforcer that's how I make my money."

I laughed as they both opened their doors getting in the car and they both strapped up as I started the car and drove off. She leaned her head against the window and sighed. I  was speeding down the street till the red light caught me so I slowed down to a stop. I looked over at her and smiled. The light turned green and I looked back at the road and kept driving Till we got to our destination. I pulled up to the Ice cream parlor and parked I looked at her and signaled for her to get out and follow me. We both got out and I locked the car up and walked beside her. She hesitantly walked beside me with her head down. We approached the door I  held the door open for Melina as we walked inside the ice cream parlor. We walked up to Counter and I looked at her " order whatever you want I'm paying" She looked at me and smiled as I smiled back at her. She turned back to the Cashier and ordered.

Melina: " can I get a large strawberry ice cream mixed with real strawberries and gummy bears with  whipped cream ."

EJ: "lemme get turtle tracks and moose tracks with a hint of caramel and strawberry sauce ."

Cashier: "okay I'll have your orders ready in 10 minutes."

EJ and Melina walked over to a booth near the window and sat down across from eachother. She looked at him and then looked out the window. She started to talk but nothing came out. She had wanted to ask a million questions but her mind was racing along with her heart eating fast and her ability to speak just disappeared. He looked at her and saw her chest moving rapidly which means she was probably having an anxiety attack. He got up and walked over to her side of the booth sitting next to her and he wrapped his arms around her hugging her tightly. He felt her tense up but she eventually relaxed and hugged him back laying her head in his chest crying. EJ moved a bit and he lifted her head up as he wiped her tears using the sleeve of his hoodie he had on. "Whats your name little one?" She looked him in the eyes. They Stared at eachother for a minute then she broke the gaze.

Melina: "uhm ... I'm Melina but they call me Meme."

EJ: "I'm Elijah but everybody call me EJ."

Meme: "I had a brother named EJ but mommy said he died, your hugs remind me of him."

She started tearing up but she wiped her eyes. He sighed and handed her a paper towel. He was listening out for their ice cream order.

Elijah: "When did she say he died?"

Meme: "She said he died 4 years ago in a head on collision."

EJ: "Did y'all ever have a funeral for him?" He looking at her.

Meme: "Nope she told me they couldn't have a funeral because his body was never recovered from the accident."

Her answers now had EJ wondering because he was in a head on collision 4 years ago. He managed to jump out the car before the two cars collided and he remembered being approached by Tay and his crew while he limped towards the hospital. He for sure thought that he was going to die that night approached him. To his surprise that was the night his whole life changed. He has been working with Tay and the family since that day on.

EJ: " What's your mom's name?"

MeMe: "Her name is Taylor but I haven't seen her in a while."

EJ: " What's Taylor last name?"

Meme: "Her last name is Amariano

EJ raised his eyebrows  as he looked at her and he shook his head up and down slowly.

EJ: " That's my last name too."

She looked up at him with wide eyes and shook her head then looked back down and wiped her face. She started talking to herself. EJ looked at her then wiped his eyes.
EJ: "Describe how Taylor look Meme."

Meme: "She's brown skin with green eyes long hair she short and thick."

EJ Gasped which made her look up at him with a strange look on her face. A million thoughts were running through his head by this point of the conversation.  Meme was now focused on EJ and she had this confused look on her face waiting for EJ to tell her what's on his mind. He reached in his back pocket and grabbed his wallet pulling it out and he opened pulling a picture out of his hidden compartment and he looked at then he looked back at Meme and started tearing up as he handed her the picture and he wiped his tears. She grabbed the picture from him and she looked at it and her eyes widened  as she puts the picture  down the table and she grabs her phone unlocking it  going straight to her gallery. She started tearing up as she wiped her tears and she pulled up the same picture that EJ had on her phone and she placed it next  to the picture on the table and they both looked at each other and cried as he wrapped his arms around her hugging her tightly.  He looks at her and wipes her tears with his hoodie sleeve and wipes his face with his other sleeve.
