Returning
Many of you prolly still have questions about Sol and Cosmos. So here you go. I hope this answers everything.
First off," Sol started, "did anyone die and does anyone need medical attention?" Sol looked to Apollo.
"There is no one too injured, only a few cuts and bruises," he told Sol. "Also the only ones to die were Zeus and Athena." Sol nodded.
"Good." Hestia stepped forward.
"What happened to Percy?" Sol smiled at her, something she had not been expecting.
"He is sleeping inside, he used too much power to kill the two. Also if he would have stayed out anymore I would have started to take his soul as an energy source."
"Excuse me," Poseidon said coming forward. This caused Sol to tense, after all he the memories of Percy. "Can you please explain what is going on?" Sol narrowed his eyes.
"You are not excused you worthless piece of trash," Sol said starting toward the Sea god, but Hestia grabbed his arm. Sol stopped to look at her.
"He and Hermes released us so we could fight."
"Are you suggesting that it makes up what he did to Percy? What he let happen to him after he betrayed him?!" Hestia shook her head, though she was still mad at her brother what he had done showed that he should have a little bit of say.
"Of course not, but everyone needs an explanation before you go all justice on everyone." Sol sighed and looked at the necklace in his hand.
"Yes, explanations." He put the necklace on and turned to Chaos. "I think it is time for everyone to hear the real truth, what do you think?" Chaos nodded and teleported everyone to Planet C in a big room. All the gods, goddess, nymphs, satyrs, demigods, Chaos's Army, and all others who this news effected was in the room. Many confused on where they were at started to yell.
"Silence," Chaos yelled from the platform in the middle of the room. With his yell the room quieted. On the platform stood Sol and Chaos. Immediately in front of it stood Alpha Team, Artemis, Apollo, Hera, Hestia, and Hades. "You all have been called here because of what has happened on Earth. For those of you that do not know what happened we will give you a quick overview." Between Chaos and Sol the two talked about what had happened in the past two hundred years, plus Chaos told the story about his siblings. The room was in awe at the story. Many cried when it came to Percy and grew angry when Athena and Zeus were mentioned. It took a little over an hour to tell the story without all the small details, for it would have taken much more if not.
"Any questions?"
"I have a question," Poseidon said, everyone turning to him. "Did I really disown Percy?" Sol glared at him. "Yes, you really did disown your own child and betrayed him. The only good child you have ever had. Many glares were added to Sol's that were directed at Poseidon.
"I do not remember why I did so, but I should never have listen to my brother. I am sorry."
"Sorry doesn't cut it Sea god, you betrayed your own son and if he were awake right not he would be agreeing with me. Because of your betrayal along with others he suffered years of torture to only have me shoved inside him. Trust me, in the beginning it was not a good thing. I don't think Percy will be forgiving you any time soon, even if you did finally stand up to your brother." Poseidon gave a sullen look.
"I will make it up to him." Sol snorted and moved his gaze away from Poseidon.
"I have more to explain, but before I do I think some punishments for certain gods and goddesses are due." Sol turned to Chaos. "What do you think?" Chaos nodded as said gods and goddesses tried to flash out to no avail.
"I agree. For going against me and thus the universe you are sentenced to my prisons. Because I will be taking over Earth your services will not be required any way on Earth." With a swipe of his had they were all gone. It emptied the room by almost half. The only Olympians left were the original five Apollo, Artemis, Hestia, Hera, Hades, Hermes, and Poseidon. The latter to for helping in the end and setting everyone free. Those minor gods that had either been forced or had hidden away were spared too.
"Now that that nasty business is over with," Chaos addressed Sol, "can you please explain who you are truthfully. Sol nodded.
"I am from another Universe entirely. My mate and I came here by accident even before you and Order were born. When we came here we meant no harm and we explained that to Void, your father. He welcomed us with open arms, but since both my mate and I are energy beings together we are stronger than Void. Zeus must have gotten the threat of stronger power for him, since Void betrayed us. He took my mate's memories and sealed them away. This diminished her power and left me at Void's mercy. I became is servant as I knew he would hurt my mate if I did not. So for eons I served him. You and Order were born and after a couple millennium Order found a book that your father had written that was half truth and half lie about me and my mate. Void had no interest in you and so he over looked it. That was a grave mistake and it caused his down fall. You see Order somehow managed to merge with me, through the book. Like the beginning of the merge with Percy it was not well. It turned both of us into a monster that only wanted souls, since that was my food source. My hatred for Void also overpowered us and with our combined power we were able to make Void fade, something you thought Void did on his own will. Then we destroyed the planet. You and Cosmos matched up against us and in our state we couldn't stop ourselves from attacking you. You were able to push my instinct back and killed Order to leave me without a host. My mind fell into darkness. That was until Athena merged me with Percy. I again was like a wild animal, but she was able to control me through the necklace. Plus, Percy for some reason was also able to fight against me. Soon I was able to calm down and you know the rest." No one was able to speak, after all they had just been told that Void had been an awful being and captured to others who had come from a different Universe that they didn't know even existed.
"My father did all that," Chaos asked, the first to speak but still not fully out of his shock.
"It is true. I swear it."
"I don't understand? How could he. It wasn't right." Chaos couldn't even make full sentences.
"I have a few questions," Bell said.
"What are they?" Sol turned his attention to her.
"How was Athena able to control you with the necklace that you took and who is your mate?"
"My mate's memories are in the necklace. Even through my hazy mind I could feel it and had to obey. As for who my mate is I think you have already guessed, but I will tell you. It is Cosmos. After her memories were taken she was made to think she was a child of Void." Everyone looked to Chaos since they knew that Cosmos was in him.
"What," Chaos/Cosmos asked unbelievably. Sol smiled.
"Cosmos you are my mate and we both came from another Universe." Chaos/Cosmos shook their head.
"I can't be. I don't take souls for energy." Cosmos had momentarily taken over from Chaos.
"Void's book explained me as Dark energy and you as Light. This is not totally unfounded. You see we are different types of energy beings. Mine in this Universe feeds of souls and thus can go without eating for a while unless I used up my energy quickly. You on the other hand take little bits of energy around you constantly. Not enough to harm anything, but enough to keep you going."
"That makes sense," Bell mused. "But if Cosmos had a form of her own why didn't you?"
"I did, but it was lost to Void. Since I am limited on souls I take I am not able to produce another. This I am a parasite." Sol looked at Chaos and Bell. "If I give Cosmos back her memories, thus boosting her energy again we can take forms and override Athena's spell. The only thing is, is that Chaos will have to transfer Cosmos to Annabeth."
"Why," Bell asked.
"Two reasons. The first is that Cosmos is inherently female and thought I could return her memories in Chaos's body, but it will be easier in yours. Second, Cosmos has always been quite emotional and once she gets her memories back she will take over whoever's body she is in. She will most likely latch onto me and will be awkward for me and later Chaos. Percy and you are soul mates like us. So it will feel more natural if she is in your body."
"I am fine with it," Bell said determined. "If this can fix things than I am all for it." Sol gave her a wide grin.
"Thank you." They both turned to Chaos/Cosmos who also had a smiled.
"Come commander," Chaos said, who was back in control. Bell moved onto the platform as all eyes watched. Chaos took her hands in his.
"This will feel very invasive and you will try to push Cosmos away, but you need to let her in."
"I understand." Chaos closed his eyes and just like he said Bell immediately felt that her body was being taken over and tried to push back. Sol put his arms on her shoulders and put his head close to her.
"I know that it doesn't feel right," he whispered into her ear, "but you can do this. Drop your guard." His coaxing and gentle voice made Bell relax allowing Cosmos to full inhabit Bell's body. Chaos opened his eyes and stepped back.
"It feels weird with her no longer with me," he said as Sol gave Bell some space too.
"Yeah, well it feels weird for her to be with me," Bell retorted.
"Hey I am not that bad," Cosmos responded which was weird since their voice didn't change. It sounded like Bell was talking to herself. Bell/Cosmos turned to Sol.
"Now what?" Sol took the necklace off and handed it to Bell/Cosmos. As soon as it touched her hand a bright light enveloped them. It was so bright that only Sol was able to gaze upon them. As the light died down they heard a girlish squeal and as everyone was able to look to the platform they found Sol being tackled by Cosmos. They could tell it was Cosmos since her eyes were now gold instead of grey. (I realized I put blue for some reason before somewhere. I must have been sleep deprived.) Sol laughed.
"Cosmos!" He picked her up and held onto her, after all this time being separate. They kissed each other passionately.
"Really glad that Cosmos went into Bell's body," Chaos murmured to know one as he watched. A wolf whistle was heard (Ambrose) which brought the couple out of their kiss. Tears shimmered in Sol's eyes as they parted.
"I thought I lost you," he whispered to her, not letting her go.
"I am sorry," Cosmos, who also had tears brimming, apologized. The leaned forward and touched each other's foreheads against the other. Several more minutes passed before they were able to control their emotions. When they finally did they looked around them.
"Bout time you notice us," Ambrose joked. Sol rolled his eyes, then looked at Cosmos.
"I think it is time to go home."
"Yes," Cosmos said smiling. A shimmer passed over the two and soon there were five people on the stage now instead of three. Sol appeared in his original form from when he came to the Universe. So did Cosmos with her light blonde, wavy, hair that went down to her feet and her gold eyes even stood out more against her lighter skin. Her white dress made her look like an angel without the wings. Percy fell to the platform unconscious as Bell stumbled, but was able to keep her balance. She went over to Percy.
"What is wrong with him." Bell asked worriedly. Sol came over to them and knelt down.
"He is exhausted, after all he was tortured for centuries, had me thrust into him, and then used his power to kill Athena and Zeus. He needs rest."
"Who needs rest," they both heard a mumble and looked down to Percy opening his eyes. He smiled at them.
"Is this a dream," he asked. Sol gave a chuckle.
"No, Percy. Cosmos and I are free and so are you."
"Good." Percy sat up with a groan and grabbed his head. Bell steadied him.
"Take it slow Percy," Sol told him. "You shouldn't even be awake yet."
"I'll be fine. Just need a moment for the room to stop spinning. There it stopped."
"Never the one to stay down for long," Sol amusedly said. Percy smirked at him.
"You know it. So what happened." Sol gave him a quick update on what had happened since Sol had taken back over and Percy had passed out.
"So you can Cosmos are finally free to go home. Good."
"Of course it is like you to be happier for us than the fact I said that we can fix it so that everyone remembers you." Percy just looked at him like he had no idea what Sol meant as Cosmos came over.
"Hello Percy." Percy smiled at her.
"Hello Cosmos. Well I might as well get up." He went to stand, but had to have a little help keeping steady. Bell helped him.
"Sorry Wise Girl." Bell smiled at him.
"It isn't a problem Percy."
"Ready," Sol asked. Percy nodded.
It didn't take long for the memories about Percy to come back to everyone in the room. Like Sol he was talked by his soul mate. Unlike Sol he wasn't able to stay up right without her keeping him balanced and they both fell to the floor, her in is arms.
"Percy," Bell sobbed. She couldn't believe she had forgotten him, even though the spell was strong she felt guilty.
"Shh," Percy petted her hair. Everyone wanted to tackle him like Bell, but they waited as the two had their moment.
"I'm so sorry," Annabeth said between sobs. Percy put two fingers under her chin and lifted them so she could look at him in the face.
"There is no need to be sorry Annabeth, sorry Bell. It was not your fault and you could do nothing about it."
"But," Percy shook his head.
"I love you. When we were together, when we were apart, now, and forever." This made her sob harder and caused others in the room to tear up as well. After all it isn't every day you hear such heartfelt words. Percy let Bell cling back onto him with her head in his chest. He didn't care about his shirt getting wet as Bell tried to calm herself. Soon the room was filled with everyone who knew him talking to him and hugging him (once Bell had calmed down). The only hiccup that came was when Poseidon had tried to apologize to Percy. Like Sol had told Poseidon, Percy did not forgive his father, even once Poseidon reclaimed him. That was going to take some time to fix. By the time Percy had reunited with everyone was exhausted, but it didn't stop him as Chaos set up celebrations. Before it could begin though Sol and Cosmos came over to Bell and Percy.
"It is time for us to go," Sol told them.
"Thank you for everything," Percy told him as they shook hands.
"Thank you Percy. After all you are the True Hero in all of this."
There will be and epilogue! Prolly tomorrow though!
