Alexander's pov

"Bonjour Lexi" my roommate, Lafayette said as we walked in, I looked up from my laptop and smiled slightly " Bonjour Gabby" I said

"Mon ami, is it okay if I bring my boyfriend and my best friend over later?" Lafayette asked " totally, I'll just hang in our room" I said, I noticed laf's face flash disappointment for a second before he smiled "okay" he muttered

-time skip -

I sat in the room, reading 'common sense' by Thomas paine because angelica said it was a good book

I decided I was gonna get a drink, so I got up and walked to the kitchen "gabby!" I yelled " oui oui ,mon ami?! " Lafayette responded

"Can I have some of your strawberry lemonade ?!" I yelled back " go ahead lexi!! And, could you come out here? I have a few people  I want you to meet!" Laf responded

I yelled a quick 'ok' before pouring myself  some juice before walking into the living room after grabbing my book

I was walking and reading at the same time "lexi?" I heard a voice that didn't sound like laf's say

I sipped my drink and looked up, regretting it immediately, because as soon as I looked up I choked on my lemonade

"Woah.." I mumbled, then cleared my throat" what's up gabby? "I said  "lexi, this is mon Amor,(idk if I spelled it right) Hercules mulligan, and mon ami John Laurens" laf said   "neither of them know french" he added

"Il est chaud" (he's hot) I said ,laf smirked " shut up" I added, "I didn't even say anything" laf said and pouted

"Laf, what did he say?" The one identified as John said, a glint of curiosity in his eyes "Gabriella, don't you dare" I said as laf had opened his mouth, I noticed John pout slightly

"Question, why do you guys call each other female names?" Hercules asked,taking my attention away from John's beautiful freckled face "one day, Lexi and I were talking about what our names would be if we were girls, and we stuck with those names ever since" laf explained

I was about to speak when the door was opened, showing the Eliza "hey E-lizard" everyone said ,causing Eliza to playfully roll her eyes and giggle

"I have a surprise!" Eliza said happily " what? " I asked, Eliza stepped to the side, my favorite 8 year old coming into view "Philip!" I said excitedly, squatting down to his height, Philip smiled and ran into my arms

"Hi alex!" Philip said , I stood ,carrying Philip in my arms "hey, you know who you look like?" I said " who? " Philip said, tilting his head cutely

"That guy, right there" I said and pointed at john "sup" John said "ew" Philip responded, causing everyone to laugh, except for john, who had a hurt expression on his face

We spent the next few hours laughing and talking together, and learning more about each other in the process
