Hello and this is Shen~! This is a tutorial how to make a (simple) background for your cover. This can take a little long--I think so.

Here are the apps that will be used:

PicsArt, Phonto, Pixlr

First, open Picsart go to Draw select canvas size, insert 512x800-portrait form.

After selecting the canvas size, you will see a pure white background. Press the box below (don't mind how messy that arrow is XD) and choose your background color. I chose green.

After choosing a color, you need to adjust the brush size, (brush icon below) to max size then paint the whole canvas.

Then press the circle and box icon below to add a shape. Remember to press fill-not stroke. Choose a color, using the box below like when you chose the color for the canvas. I added a yellow square.

We're not done yet. I'll add a paper plane png. You can seach for it. To add it you can click 'add photo' or 'empty layer'

Choose the png.

Place the png where you want it, then save. (Press 'DONE' > 'Save & Share' > Gallery)

And again we're not done yet.

I went to Phonto.

After I went to Phonto, I typed --------- and pressed done.

I added three more for each sides, a total of four line set.

I tilted both right and left 90°.

And here's the result ^ but before we finish, let's not forget one important thing--lightrays.

I opened Pixlr for this.

I opened the photo, then went to double exposure.

And then I added the lightrays. Put it to softlight. (Don't have lightrays? PM us or me)

I went to effects then to subtle > ingrid and reduced ingrid's effect.

And we're done, just save it! Make sure it's in PNG form!

Final product: Your own made background

I added some fonts and an anime girl for a sample of used bg;
