After a moment I regained my consciousness.

The shock was still there.

But I forgot it as I remembered about his dinner.

So I gathered myself and went to the kitchen.

Now the Lord has returned I was not required to help them.

So I patiently waited for the chef to give me The Lord's dinner. After what seems like forever, I was given the steaming lavish dinner.

I placed it in the trolley and took it to The Lord's room.

"My Lord your dinner is here. May I bring it in..?"

There was a pause and a loud crash was heard followed by a cussing sound.

"Bring it in!"

I tentatively opened the door and pushed the trolley inside near the dinner table.

The Lord was sitting and holding a gun.

He was watching me like a hwak.



"May I go My Lord?"

"Gunner not now!"

I faintly heard the Lord whispering to himself. He shook his head from side to side and was grinding his teeth.

Then a loud growl was the only response I got.

I was frozen with fear and his eyes soon gave into his wolf's eyes. His wolf's stormy grey steel eyes burned my whole body with an invisible fire.

I thought its best if I could just leave him in peace. So I slowly took a step back.

A snarl was thrown in my way and his eyes pinned me in place.

"Do not walk away from me mate!"

I was terrified and thought to back away slowly.

Better to go than staying here with him.

So I backed away slightly and continued to do so silently.

His already steely eyes became silver and he watched me intently.

When I was near the door he suddenly snapped and with a flash I was pinned against the wall.

He gripped my hands in his massive right hand started to sniff and lick my neck.

I have had enough!

With that thought in mind I kneed his crotch and sprinted to the door.

His grunt of pain followed by a vicious snarl , fuelled me to run faster.

I ran past everyone and went in search for Madame Russell.

A loud howl vibrated through the mansion followed by a growl.

I quickly ducked behind a statue and just to my luck I came infront of the wretched Red Velvet Room.

Quickly placing my fingures infront of the scanner I went inside and locked it. Then without wasting a minute I went to the secret door and opened it. When I was just about to shut it I heard the unmistakable sound of a lock clicking.

Guess he found me rather easily..

I quickly bolted the secret door and ran to the servant quarters where Madame Russell was.

I found her inside her room writing a letter. My panicked face must have told her something was wrong.

Because the instant she saw me , she urshed me in and closed the door.

"Quick!

Hide me! He is chasing me!!!"

I babbled and she was quick enough to push me through a secret door inside her closet.

And after she closed the door a loud crash was heard and I heard the snarling sounds.

"Where is my mate??"

"Who My Lord? No one is here.."

A loud slap echoed through the room.

"You better remember that I am your Alpha and I will not hesitate to kill you if you ever lie to me!"

"As you wish High Alpha!"

I heard she whimper quietly and the trembling was evident.

"Russell!

Why are you crying??

Who hurt you?

And why am I here??"

"Nothing My Lord just some dirt was in my eye.

And you came to give me this letter to post."

"Strange....I never come to do such mundane tasks..

Ok then. I am leaving"

"Good night My Lord"

"Good night"

And just like that the bastard went away.

I was trembling with fear and soon the door opened revealing the tear and blood stained face of Madame Russell.

There was three claw marks on her right side of the face which were quickly healing.

"Come my child. Its safe now.."

"Oh no... I am sorry Madame Russell.. Its all because of me.."

"Nonsense! Now listen. Listen carefully..

His wolf accuses me now.

I can't do anything to help you. He will be keeping a close eye on me..

And I have to do everything he asks.

Because not also he is our High Lord but also he is our Alpha.

So you are on your own.

I will help you as much as I can. But not like earlier.

His Wolf gave me a clear warning.

I can't disobey him.

Otherwise he will not hesitate to kill me.."

"I understand.

I will survive this.

Thank you for your gelp Madame. I will never forget it.."

And with that I left the servant quarters and went into my room.

After the events tonight I was fairly tired.

And the minute I hit the bed , I was fast asleep.

I was having the best sleep in my life and felt like I was on a dream land.

The feather like touches that were adorning my body reminded me of a day in a flower garden.



The soft murmurs of rumblings were like warm breeze caressing my skin..

Soft warmth was wrapped around me protecting my flesh from the harsh clod..

A soft kiss brushed my lips wetting them and parting them slightly.

The tingling warmth which was spreading through my body ignited my core allowing the hot lava juice to drip on to the mattress.

What a peaceful night...

Wait.....!!!

I snapped my eyes open and was lost in the dark.

I searched everywhere with my eyes and found my body caged in muscular arms.

Travelling my eyes up slowly , soon I found the unmistakable silver eyes glaring daggers at me..

I audibly gulped...!

Shit on the top of a cake...!!

Motherfucker!! Why am I soooo unlucky...!!!
