Michael's POV:

It has been two days since Leticia told me she was pregnant. We talked about many things since she told me the big news. Leticia wanted the baby and so did I, so we decided not to abort. Not only that, but Leticia decided to keep going to law school, so that she could finish in the spring. And Leticia had no plans on telling her brother about this great news. We even plan on getting a house too, but I don't know how she will feel after I tell her the truth about me.

Anyway, today is the day where I go to my boss and tell him everything that has happened. He took me into his office, where we both sat down.

"Well Michael, with everything you have told the Miami police department, it looks like this case will close in a couple of days." my boss explained. "It looks like you will get to go home soon. The department and I can't thank you enough, Michael."

"Huh yeah." I mumbled, as I leaned forward.

"Michael, is something wrong? You don't seem so happy as I would expect you to be."

"Boss, there is something I need to tell you." I said.

"What is it?" I asked.

"You know Mateo's sister, Leticia, right?"

"Of course. She is an innocent girl who is surrounded by her brother's drug environment."

"Yeah well, earlier on in the case, I started developing actual feelings for her, and only a couple of weeks ago, I slept with her." I paused only for a moment. "Two days ago, she told me she was pregnant."

I looked over at my boss, who was wide eyed. He didn't seem to be taking this too bad.

Instead he leaned on his desk and said, "Michael, you are a great cop, but an even better man. I know what can happen undercover, which is why I am going to give you my full support. Leticia is not a criminal, but her brother is. I don't want her, I want him."

"What are you saying?" I asked.

"You are not in any trouble, Michael. My daughter had a situation similar to yours. She got mixed up with drugs and the wrong crowd. She got pregnant by a gang member as well. They were in love and I could not separate them, no matter how hard I tried. So I had not choice but to support them. And I got some beautiful grand kids out of the deal."

"What is the gang member doing now?"

"He left the gang life. Got a good job and ended up marrying my daughter; therefore, becoming my son in-law and being apart of my family." answered my boss.

After hearing that, it only made me feel better about the situation I was in.

"In a couple of days, this case is going to end. You will still be undercover when we arrest Mateo, and we will fake arrest you." my boss explained.

"What about Leticia?" I asked.

"She won't be arrested, but we will bring her to the station."

"Okay, okay, I think that will work."

"Don't worry, Michael. Every thing will workout." my boss assured me.
