*Frisk*

I woke to a MUCH better situation this time. Other than the fact that I could barely breath and I felt blood from my neck soaking the loose bandaging around it.

I fluttered my eyes open to see the ceiling of G's bedroom. I was terrified that'd if I turned, Chara would be there to finish me off, but....

Instead I found G.

He slept soundly in a chair beside me, his large hand resting on the bed. I sighed, inching my shaking hand toward his. My wheezing breaths filled the silence other than his deep snores. I had no idea why I wanted to grab his hand, probably because I was in pain and wanted comfort so badly.

My slender fingers intertwined with his bony ones, not getting far since a wave of pain made me cry out softly. The cry and feeling of my fingers must've been enough because a golden iris opened and looked up at me.

"H..Hey, dollface..."

I smiled softly. "H-H-Hey....G......" He sighed, sitting up and looking at our intertwined hands.

"Dove.....Ya don' have ta speak if ya aren' able ta right now."

I shook my head slowly, tears welling up in my eyes. "N-N-No! I....I w-wanna s-say......Th-thank y-you!"

He chuckled softly. "Ya jus' did, sweetheart." I rolled my eyes, a tear falling down my face. He noticed it, moving to sit on the bed beside me. "Ya hurtin'?"

I let out a sigh, nodding slowly and trying not to cry anymore. "C'mere," he said lowly, pulling me gently toward him and laying my head in his lap. "Don' look around, jus' stay in tha position I move ya to."

I hummed in response as he lifted my chin for me to look at the wall behind me. A wave of warm soothing passed over my neck, relieving pain like it did before. He huffed. "Why did'ja do it?"

I blinked, my hand against his working arm. "I.....I d-didn't..."

"Then who did then? You were tha only one up 'ere!"

My eyes traveled to the corner, the distorted Chara in my view putting a finger to her disgusting mouth. I nearly broke out into tears at the sight. "I......I c-can't say......"

"Why not?!"

"I.....J-just c-c-can't!"

He huffs, shaking his head. I just hoped he didn't think I'd ever do that, I would never have the guts to even if it was what I desperately wanted. My thumb rubbed against his arm gently, my eyes closed in content.

A shaking, bony hand gently rubbed against my cheekbone, wiping away the tears that had started to slow. "It's gonna be okay, Frisk."

I nearly started crying again. He called me by my name in a good way? I smiled softly.

"I h-h-hope so...."

*G*

She had fallen asleep soon after I healed her. I sighed, standing up and wandering around mindlessly. She wouldn't lie...At least I dont think she would. I looked over at her sleeping form, rubbing my tired face with a huff.

"She wouldn't....Would she?"

No, the answer was no. She would never. She wasn't like that. I walked back over for a moment, looking down at her. The girl, as annoying as she was, didn't deserve this. I sighed, brushing the hair from her tear drenched face and tucked her in. "Get some sleep, sweetheart....Ya' need it."

She hummed in her sleep. It made me smile softly, knowing that she acknowledged my voice. I slipped out of the room for a moment, still afraid to leave her alone. I quickly ran downstairs, sliding into the kitchen where Papy still was. "Bro! I gotta get ta work. Mind watchin' mah girl?"

"Your girl? She's yours now?" He snickers. My cheekbones flushed a light gold as I tried to hide it.

"She's mah vigilant."

"You sure that's all?"

"Shut up! I know it is!"

"Mmm hmm." He finished what he was doing, washing the dishes, and wiped off his bony hands. "Of course I will. Get your lazy butt off to work before I personally kick it there."

I snort, nodding. "Yes sir." He rolls his irises, hating when I gave him "authority". I grabbed my cloak and slipped on my boots. The metal plate on my leg hit my knee cap, making me groan lightly.

As Papyrus passed by, he stopped, looking back at me. "Your leg being a bother?"

"Nothin' I can't handle."

"You sure? You know how bad it can get."

"Yeah," I huffed, standing. "I'm sure." He shrugged and went upstairs to my room as I slipped out into the night and made my way to Grillby's.

I opened up the back door and walked in. Almost instantly I was bumped into by a small flame in a blue dress. She squeaked, turning and looking up at me.

"Oops! Sorry G-G!"

I chuckled, patting her purple flaming head. "It's no problem, little sis." She smiled adorably, giving me a nod and walking out the kitchen door. I watched as she went up to several large monsters with ease, having no trouble with conversing.

"Didn't expect you to show up today."

I jumped slightly at the sudden voice behind me, turning to see Grillby. He was preparing food at the stove, not looking at me and rather at the food as he sliced it in sections. "Huh?"

"Last time I saw you, you were incredibly drunk and nearly beat a man to death."

I blinked, crossing my arms. "Well.....Do ya think I'd miss work?"

Grillby chuckled, looking up at me with a small smirk. "No. You're G. You never miss a chance to be around alcohol."

I laugh loudly, shaking my head. "Ya dang right!" I slipped off my cloak, hanging it on the rack and rolling up the sleeves of my black turtleneck.

Grillby hummed, turning back to the food. "Get out there already, ya idiot. I don't trust you around these knives."

I huff, pushing out the kitchen door to the bar. "Ya nevah did."

I AM SO SORRY FOR NOT UPDATING FOR SO LONG!!! I got really busy and stressed with real life stuff and have not updated anything really. Im so incredibly sorry. In the summer, I will 127% be able to post often!
