panic attack

TRIGGER WARNING: PANIC ATTACK, DEATH, SOME BLOOD

Peter stood in the warehouse, watching as the suit cut the supports. Peter couldn't move, his feet were planted to the ground.

He watched as the wing cut the the last support and Toomes fled the scene, not bothering to help the 15 year old as a building that should've killed the minor collapsed on top of him.

Peter walked in the warehouse with so much confidence, ready to take on the world only to lose all hope as rubble suffocated him.

Peter groaned in pain as the concrete pressed the lower half of his body into the ground. He should be dead right now but he wasn't.

He wished he was.

Peter's breathing pattern quickened and quickened until he could barely breathe. He wished his fatherly-figure was here to save him.

"If you are nothing without the suit, than you shouldn't have it."

He remembered he words from days ago, those words hit him hard.

He was nothing without the suit but now...

But now he could be something without the suit.

Could he...? He was dying.

Peter let out uneven breathes, sobs escaping his trembling lips. He cried for help knowing there would be none.

He knew he had to stay awake but sleep sounded so good right now.

The rubbled pushed harder on his back, if that was possible. He couldn't feel the lower half of his body, circulation was cut off. His ragged breathes began to slow as his body grew weaker and more tired.

Suddenly, his Uncle Ben stood in front of him, he gun shot wound still fresh.

Peter tore his eyes away from it, his sobs quietening as the building continued adding more weight to Peter's back.

"You could've saved me, Pete." Uncle Ben spat, darkly. "You weren't strong enough, all you cared about was yourself. If you weren't so selfish, I would still be here!"

"I'm doing this for you, Uncle Ben!" Peter breathed out as loudly as he could. "I'm Spider-Man for you!"

"It took you my husbands death to realize that you needed to be a hero? You are no hero, look at you. How pathetic." Aunt May walked behind him, blood pouring from her head. "You sacrificed my husband for chocolate milk, was it?"

"You think... You think I wanted him dead? You dead?" Peter whispered, "I didn't want anyone to die, Aunt May! It should've been me... okay? It should've been but it wasn't!"

Aunt May let out a short laugh, narrowing her eyes at her nephew. "It should've been, isn't that right, Ben?"

"Right, it should've been Peter." Uncle Ben snarled out, limping back into the darkness.

"But, you will die here. Under this building. You will die alone, Pete." Aunt May whispered, walking into the darkness with Uncle Ben. "Goodbye, Peter."

Peter's eyes flew open, his whole body shaking. Tears of his past flowing down his face, hitting the blanket he was hugging himself with. He sat up, staring at the darkness that surrounding him, Peter let out quiet whimpers that could make anyone's heart shatter.

"Kid..?" A drowsy voice came from the doorway, "Are you alright?"

Peter jumped at the sound of the new voice, falling off the bed in the process.

"FRIDAY, turn the lights on. Dim them to 30%." The voice told the AI to do.

"O-oh..." Peter whispered out quietly, "Hey.... hey, Mister Stark. I'm okay, just a little nightmare." Peter let out a short laugh at the end, as if they would make everything okay.

Suddenly, Tony was in front of him. His eyes displayed concern and whenever he spoke his words were laced with concern.

"Kid, you are not okay. You woke up screaming and shaking," Tony whispered quietly. "Talk to me, I'm here for you and I'll always be here."

"Do you... do you think I killed Uncle Ben and Aunt May." Peter blurted out, fresh tears leaking from his eyes.

Tony's eyes widened with surprise, before returning back to their original size. "Oh, Peter..."

"Do you?" Peter whispered, harsher than he meant for it to come out.

"Did you take the gun and shoot Uncle Ben?"

"Well... no," Peter whispered, back against the wall. Tony was too close, the closer the got the closer to death he was.

Peter wanted to keep all of the Avengers as far away from him as he could because of the so called Parker Luck.

He didn't want to lose his new family, he didn't want to lose the only ones who cared for him.

He didn't want them to care for him, those who cared and loved Peter always died.

"Did you shoot Aunt May?" Tony whispered, squeezing Peter's hand.

"No... no, I didn't but—."

"Well, then, it's settled. You didn't kill them." Tony reassured, bringing Peter into a side hug.

The two talked for hours before Peter decided he should sleep.

"Alright, kid." Tony nodded, moving to get off the bed. "Goo—."

"Can you stay?" Peter suddenly blurted out. "I mean you don't have to if you don't want to, that was stupid to ask... you have things to worry about not some worthless, bratty teenager. Okay, well, goodnight, Mister Stark."

"Kid, I'll stay." Tony reassured, moving back onto the bed. "You are not worthless nor bratty, Pete. I'm not very good at consoling people but you are my kid and my responsibility so I'll try for you—."

"Just stay, you don't need to write some speech for me." Peter spoke, softly a smile tugging at his lips as he let out a quiet laugh.

"Hey! I was just complimenting you and you interrupted me!" Tony laughed, a smirk planted on his face as he laid down in the bed next to his son.

Peter smiled, resting his head into his fathers chest.

"Goodnight, kid,"
