A Neutral Path: Gone
Sometimes I get tired of it all... just want to run and slip away, but I have responsibilities ya know? Pap's grave, the brat's untimely disappearance, and a hole half an underground filled with monsters.
Why couldn't she have left Papyrus alone? Why did it have to be him? He was my poor innocent brother, he never deserved that! I did, I still do... I want him back to bad...
It just hurts my SOUL how badly I wish to see him or hear him, hold him and hug him, I'd swear I'd protect him better next time!
But I always fail on that don't I...?
Heh...
God... what a useless brother am I? Can't even protect you... no I had to be lazy... just like me right? You're stupid lazy old brother?
There's still a mess to clean up at home... you'd be so disappointed wouldn't you Papyrus?
Trudging through the snow I looked at the festive home, anger surged in me. The house was too happy, it didn't deserve to be so festive when my brother was no longer around to keep it that way. I ran at the lights and gripped them ripping them off our beautiful house.
Screaming when they got stuck. I threw bones at the lights screeching. Watching them pop didn't make me feel any better only made it worse. I shoveled up some snow and chunked it.
"WHAT DID HE DO?! WHY DID HE DESERVE THAT?!" I knew nobody was around to watch my fit, the kid made sure of it.
Snowdin was empty. All except for me.
I sank and sobbed curling up into a fetal position sobbing into my jacket. You wouldn't want this of me Papyrus... but you know me... I'm too tired to lazy myself...
Your lazybones of a brother...
I heard someone's footsteps crunching in the snow. I cleaned my face quickly trying to gain my composure.
Then there she was... Queen Toriel...
I gawked I thought she was dead, she paused and started at me.
"Monster! I demand you tell me where the human child is this instant!" She had an impatient fury to them. I scoffed and slowly got to my feet.
"they're gone tori, they made it out..." I smiled faintly.
Toriel seemed hurt and shocked
"Sans? Is that you my dear friend?"
"in the flesh" I chuckled, she shuddered at the joke, I must've been trying too hard.
"Sans what happened here?"
"the human came and wiped almost everyone out... then they disappeared. poof, gone, vanished" I said bitterly. I say the pain and anger swell in her.
"No, my child would never—"
"hurt someone? Look around tori... they have..."
"That isn't possible! They were so sweet and inno—"
"please i know you're not that naive... you can see it can't you? all the dust? just because it's snowy doesn't mean it's not there"
"What happened to you my friend?" Toriel stepped back she looked like I just slapped her on the face.
I said nothing.
"sorry tori..." I moved away. Heading towards the now empty and cold bar know as Grillby's.
I needed a break. Maybe there were still some bottles in the back left. But that was just me getting my already low hopes up.
I could hear Tori's footsteps following me, though I knew she was really following she was going to look for Frisk...
Some people just can't give up... heh that sure sound familiar doesn't it?
A/N: it's been a while hasn't it?
