"Now the prodigal daughter is back," Lisha mocked as she ascended the stairs while Nikki descended the stairs.

Nikki stared at her sister wide in surprise, she didn't know when she entered the house, so, it amazed her to see her in the house, not only that but her look, Lisha had really changed, she was looking more beautiful with her protruding belly.

"When did you get in?" Nikki asked as she halted her walk on the stairs.

"Does that matter? Where have you been? For almost a year now, you've been missing, you abandoned every one, even your daughter!"

"Like you care," she hissed before proceeding to walk away but Lisha grabbed her hand and immediately she jerked her hand away with great force and that made Lisha lose her balance on the stairs which in turn led to her fall, she rolled down the stairs until she landed on the floor with a loud thud.

Nikki gasped as her eyes widened upon realising what she'd done, she rushed down the stairs and stared at the almost lifeless body of Lisha in astonishment while her body shook.

"Oh God, what have I done?" Nikki muttered to herself while trying so hard to get a hold of herself, she stared at the body of Lisha that was covered in blood.

"What are you doing here?" Soil shouted as she glared at Nikki who just walked into the hospital room with Daniel and Miracle.

Jimi glanced at her before turning back to the bed.

"I...I came here to..."

Soil cut in, "Save it, you came here to complete your mission right?"

Nikki shook her head.

"Then why are you here? As you can see she's still unconscious, for the past eleven days, she's been in a comatose state and you know that, isn't that enough torture, you really want to kill her right?" Soil shouted and Nikki shook her head.

"No, I came here to see her."

"Well you've seen her now, you can leave," Jimi who had been quiet all along said.

"It wasn't a deliberate action, Nikki narrated everything to me," Daniel interjected and that seem to ignite the anger in Jimi.

"Pushing her down the stairs wasn't a deliberate action right? I can't blame you when it's not your wife that is lying unconscious here after having to go through a caesarian section to bring my babies!" he shouted.

"I'm really sorry," Nikki apologized in a contrite manner.

"Well your sorry doesn't change anything here, just pray she wakes up soon or else you'll rot in jail, can you please get out?" Jimi said belligerently.

"I..."

"Get out!" Soil thundered and she walked out of the room in company of Daniel and Miracle.

Jimi sighed as he turned to look at his wife who was lying helplessly on the bed with an oxygen mask on her face. After Nikki had eventually gotten hold of herself, she rushed Lisha to the hospital, instantly Lisha was wheeled to the theatre room while Nikki stood at the reception in a fidgety position before she decided to call Jimi who came rushing to the hospital in no minute.

The doctor came out minutes later to explain the critical condition Lisha was in, then he told Jimi that a caesarian section would have to be carried out on Lisha quickly so the babies won't die, after he consented and signed, the doctor went back to the surgical room only for him and others to come out hours later with the babies but still with the bad news that Lisha had entered coma.

Since then, the babies who were placed in the incubators for days due to the fact that they were very small compared to the weight of new born babies and Lisha was still unconscious, it was her eleventh day and she still didn't give any sign of waking up.

"Do you think she'll wake up without any complications?" Jimi asked his mother with worry etched in his tone.

"I hope so."

"But she's been lying here for days without any sign of recovery," he complained bitterly.

"You know what, I think we should bring the babies to her maybe if she feels their presence or hears their voice, she might open her eyes."

Jimi lifted his brows in confusion.

"My instinct is telling me that and again, no mother would here the voice of her child without standing up."

He stared at her in confusion, "But not in this state, she can't hear any voice."

Soil shrugged, "She might, let me go outside and check on the babies, I'll surely bring them," she walked out of the room even before Jimi could stop her.

Jimi stared at his wife in bitterness, for days, he'd been praying and hoping she would wake up but everything seemed futile, he heaved before he felt a movement in between his hand, looking down, he realized Lisha had just moved her hand, just as he stood up to call the attention of the doctor, Soil walked in with the babies in her hand.

"She moved her fingers," Jimi announced in esctasy.

"Really?" Soil inquired before Jimi rushed out of the room as she turned to look at Lisha before the babies cries filled the air. She noticed the movement of Lisha's eyes too and Soil prayed inwardly.

Just then Jimi rushed in with the doctor, immediately, the doctor moved closer to her, Lisha opened her eyes.

"I'm so sorry, I never intended for it to happen, I only jerked my hand away with impulse, I thought you were only pretending to care considering the fact that I've wronged you in so many ways," Nikki explained for what seemed like the umpteenth time.

Lisha nodded her head as she returned her baby boy whom she'd just finished feeding to Soil who placed the boy in the carrier beside his sister who was sleeping soundly.

"I understand," Lisha said.

"I really hope you'll find it in your heart to forgive me," Nikki pleaded.

Soil who had been trying to coo the baby boy to sleep raised her head from the carrier.

"Are you really sincere about this or it's just one of your plans? See, there's nothing you can do again, it's better you start thinking of your own life instead of harbouring ill feelings concerning your sister's happiness," she chided.

"I'm not, I regret all my actions, main reason I stayed in Ghana for so long, I was afraid Lisha would hate me but Daniel forced me back."

Lisha raised her brows, "Daniel?"

Nikki nodded with a small smile, "Yeah, we met accidentally in Ghana and he explained everything to me."

Lisha wriggled her brows with a tugging smile, "So, you guys are together again?" She teased and Nikki smiled before nodding.

"Yes, we are."

Lisha clapped, "So, now you're not after my husband again?" She joked and Nikki smiled before nodding.

Not quite long, Nikki and Soil walked out of the hospital room while Jimi walked in.

"I think the coma just made my wife more beautiful," he teased before placing a soft kiss on her lips.

"I've always been beautiful," Lisha replied and he nodded before sitting down, he stared at her for some seconds with a broad smile on his face before Lisha broke his stare.

"Why are you staring like that?"

He smiled, "I'm just so grateful that your alive with our kids, I can't imagine life without you guys."

Lisha blushed as a smile crept up her face, "Really?"

He nodded.

"Talking about our babies, it's pass their Christianing and they're yet to have names."

"We were waiting for you," Jimi replied.

"Is that so?"

He nodded.

"Okay, hmm, what should we name them oo?" She placed her index finger on her lips as she looked at the ceiling for some minutes before talking.

"Seyifunmi and Sayofunmi, what do you think of that?"

Jimi smiled, "It sounds nice."

"Hmm, let me test it, daddy Seyifunmi ?" She teased and Jimi laughed.

"Yes, mummy Sayofunmi," he replied and they both erupted into laughter.
