The next morning, the first sight that greeted me when I opened my eyes was my sister's big eyes staring right back at me.

" What?" I questioned, moving away from her immediately and jumping out of the bed.

She chuckled and an annoyed scowl made its way onto my face. I hated being woken up. If I had to wake up, I would do it myself. I didn't like others waking me and she knew that so she certainly must have a good reason. If not, I was going to kill her.

I turned to her and raised an eyebrow, when I realized she wasn't answering my question.

" Nothing, I am waiting for you to tell me what happened yesterday," she said smirking at me.

" Seriously???" I groaned. " Why do you have to wake me so early for that? It's 5 for god sake and that too a Sunday..." I trailed off.

" The early bird catches the worm," she said with a wink. " And in this case, the worm may be that girl."

I sighed. " What on earth do you want to know?"

" I want to know how she managed to get a giddy smile on your face," she said cheekily.

" Nayo, please, I had no giddy smile. Stop hallucinating."

"Oh really?" She said.
Then she took out her cell phone from her pocket and showed me this picture where I was looking toward the side. My lips were stretched into a wide grin and there was a redness creeping up my neck.

"Shit. When did you click that?" I cursed loudly and attempted to grab the phone but to no avail. She ran way with it.

" Woman, are you trying to blackmail me?" I growled.

" Of course not, " she said innocently. " What ever would I use it for?"

" Ughh," I grumbled. " Ok here goes."

I knew that I had to tell her what I felt at some point of time. I was closest to my sister in my whole family. We had always been. Ever since dad had got a transfer to Delhi and taken mom with him( I was in 11th at that time so I couldn't move considering it was a crucial year and my sister offered to stay back with me), we both had stayed together and had always had each others' back.

After I narrated the whole story, she looked at me with a grin.

" Omg you're giving me the weird, creepy look. Don't tell me you have some crazy idea."

" No I don't. It has just been really long since I saw my brother this happy."

" If you think I am going to use my charm and go after her, you're highly mistaken."

" What?" She exclaimed, her face falling. I felt guilty for a moment for putting a downer on her mood.

" Well," I started. " I am not going to repeat the same mistake again."

" This girl is not the same Navneet, don't compare everybody to that b***h..She didn't deserve you.."

My sister could get really aggressive with her words when it came to defending me, but she was not the one for swearing. I looked at her incredulously and raised her eyebrow for the use of the profanity when she smirked.

" What?? She deserved worse okay?" She said.

" You've really grown up," I said, grinning, giving her a knuckle bump.

" And so have you, little bro," she said, ruffling my hair.

I gave her a huge hug. The moment really needed it since we were being all emotional.

She hugged me back equally tightly.

" So are you going to go after her, give her a chance?" My sister asked after pulling away from me." As far as I know and from what I have seen when I have taken Bruno for his checkups, she seems sweet and lovable."

" I am sorry but this time I don't think I can. Even if I love you till the moon and back, this is something that I have to disagree with you on. I am going to ignore her. I can't afford to fall in love again. I am going to stay away from her as much as possible. And that's final."

" Okay," she said, sighing. " I can't push you more than that."

" Thanks for respecting my decision."

" Stop being so formal, you dimwit. Anyways enough of all the mushy talk. Go freshen up. I will make your Chocolate milk for you," she said laughing.

"Alright," I said, grinning. I loved being pampered by my older sister.

Just as I sat down to eat, the phone rang.

" I will take it!" Nayo exclaimed as she ran to pick the receiver.

" Hello??" she called.

I heard a vague, "Oh yeah he's here...Navneet! It's for you," she said raising an eyebrow. " Some girl."

I looked at her for a second astonished. " What's her name?" I asked.

" Why don't you ask her yourself?"

" Alright, " I said, getting up from the seat and approaching the side table on which the phone was placed.

As soon as I placed the phone to my ear and breathed into it, a chirpy voice greeted me.

" Heyyy handsome!"

And I got thoroughly creeped out right there.
