*5 months later*

Kelli's POV

"Sophia don't y-" I was cut off my the whole tote of blocks being pushed over onto the hard wood floor. It only made my headache ten times worse. I look at Sophia and she quickly crawls away.

"What was, oh who did it?" Jason asks coming into the room. I look at him then back to Sophia.

"Sophia did it!" Melanie says running around the room. Her speech as gotten a whole lot better over the last five months. Sophia and Adrian are also crawling and causing a lot of trouble. Sophia is the worst, surprisingly. You would think that Adrian would be the hell rat but Sophia is.

"Why don't you go have a girl day with mom and Maegan" he says hugging me. I sigh and shake my head.

"Maegan and Derek went to go visit her parents and Pattie is with Dom in Toronto.

"Well let's go to the park. Make them play and get them tired" He says. I look down at Adrian and Sophia who are fighting over a block. I look over at Mel who is making invisible snow angels on the ground. I laugh and nod.

"Let me just take some medicine for my head then we will go" I say. I walk out of the twins room where we all are and walk down the hall. I walk into the bedroom and go over to the nightstand and grab some pain killers that I always kept there for my headaches.

I take a drink of the water I had by my bed and stand up, walking into the balcony that we have. I love this thing, i have always wanted one. I lean against the rail and breath in the summer air, I look over the yard. In the woods line I see a dear eat berries off of a bush, I smile and look across the yard. I stop once I see someone standing in the wood line, I try to focus on them but they turn and walk into the woods.

I walk into the bedroom and lock the balcony doors. I walk out of my bed room to see Jason getting the twins ready, Melanie walks out of her room wearing shorts and a tank, she is so cute when she dresses herself.

"Ok are we ready?" I ask once Adrian is dressed. Jason nods and put Sophia in her car seat and I put Adrian in his. We walk down the stairs with Melanie behind us.

Once all the kids are buckled into their seats and we start to drive I look over at Jason and sigh.

"Do you know if anyone lives in the woods?" I ask him while looking out the window at the woods

"No, why did you see someone?" He asks. I debate on if I should tell him or not. So I just shrug but he didn't let it go.

"Kelli did you see someone?" He asks this time a little louder.

"I don't know, it could have been a brunch or bush moving in the wind" I say trying to convince him. He sighs and looks in the rear view mirror at the kids, I turn to see Melanie playing with Adrian's hands.

We arrive at the park only ten minutes later. I get the double stroller out and put Sophia and Adrain in it. Jason helps Mel out and she runs onto the play ground with the other kids. I roll the stroller over to a bench and sit down, making the stroller face me.

"Why don't we take them on the swings?" Jason asks. I nod but when I stand up my phone rings. I answer it as Jason takes the stroller away.

"Hello?" I answer into the phone

"Hi, Umm is Jason there?" A women asks on the other line.

"Who's asking?" I ask. The person hangs up, i roll my eyes and make a note to myself to change my number. I look over at Jason to see him pushing the twins in the baby swings. I was walking over there when someone stopped me.

"Hey Kelli bean" the person says. I smile at Adam and his stupid nickname he gave me many years ago.

"What do you want loser?" I ask him. He laughs and just shrugs.

"I was out for a run and I saw you and thought I would stop and talk" he says. I was about to say something back when I heard a scream. I know that little scream and it was Melanie's. I look over to see her laying on the ground with a boy standing over top of her. I take off running over to them and pick her up, she had bloody knees and elbows.

"Melanie what happened?" I ask her while wiping her tears away. She pointed to the little boy who was in the lap of his mom.

"He pushed you?" Jason asks from behind me. I turn to look to see him holding both babies in his hands. Mel nods and cuddles deeper into my chest.

"My son would never do that. He is perfect" the women says holding the boy that pushed Mel. I was about to say something but I know it will only in a screaming match and j don't want that will kids around.

"Come on baby lets go get you cleaned up" I say picking her up. i carry her like a baby over to the bench where the diaper bag was.

"Is she ok?" I hear someone ask. I look up to see Adam standing there. I nod and take out the baby wipes, antibacterial cream and some princess bandaids.

"Can I help you?" I hear Jason ask from behind me. I don't have to turn around to know he is talking to Adam.

"Umm no I was just leaving. See you around Kelli" he says before jogging off. I start to clean Mel up as Jason buckles the twins into the stroller.

"Ok all done. Now why don't we go get some ice cream since you did such as good job holding still while i cleaned you up" I say kissing Mel's head. She stands up and jumps up and down. I pick her up and was about to walk away when Jason stopped me.

"What did he want?" He asks me. I shake my head to tell him that he didn't want anything, just talking.

"So I was thinking maybe we can have a movie night once we get home. I have a special surprise for you. "He says kissing my nose. I smile and nod.

"Goodnight baby girl" I say tucking Melanie into her bed.

"Hey mom?" She asks me. I give her a weird look since she has never called me mom. It was always mama or mommy.

"Yes sweetie" I say squatting down to her level. She straightens out her bed cover and looks at me.

"I saw someone outside today. It made a scwared. " She says playing with her fingers.

"Well what did this person look like?" I ask her. I wanted to see if it was the same guy I saw today.

"He wear all black, he had mean face, but he far away, in the woods" she says. She has a worried look on her face.

"Look sweetie, no matter what we will protect you ok. I won't let the bad man hurt you" i say kissing her head. She nods and kisses my cheek.

"Night mommy" she says in a cute little voice.

"Night baby girl" I say before walking out of her room, leaving the door open so she can have some light.

I walk into the bedroom, looking for Jason but I don't see him. I check the bathroom, nope. I check the twins room, Melanie's room, the guy and nothing. I went down to the living room to see candles and rose petals all over the ground but no Jason.

That's when I see the petals leading outside, I smile and follow them out the back door onto the patio. That's when I see Jason standing there by a table with candles on the ground around it, roses everywhere.

"Jason this is beautiful" I say looking around. He smiles and tucks a piece of hair behind my ear.

"Not as beautiful as you" he says before kissing me. I kiss him back harder. I pull away and laugh at his cheesy joke.

"Anyway I know you where having a rough day today so I made this for you."he says point around. I smile and he leads me to the table. We sit down and eat everything that was there, which was pizza, breadsticks, bacon, fries, chicken nuggets and even cheesecake. He said he wanted to all all my favorite foods for me.

"Ok now come on I want to show you the other half of your gift" he says pulling me into the living room. I sit down on the couch and looks around at the beautiful sight. Jason puts something in the DVD player and comes over to me and sits down. He kisses me on the forehead and the screen popped up. I gasp at the image on the tv.
