Christmas Reflection

Into the darkness

You brought

inexpressible pure Light

In the face of rampant evil

You sent a child, resplendent

all for us that fateful night

Your glory shines, undimmed

from Heaven down to earth

with sprinkled stars arrayed till Dawn's alight

Amazing then, redemption began

Improbably, in humble nascent birth

to bring the Savior who would set things right
