My father growled, glaring at the male before us. "What are you doing on my land, Rufus?" he growled out. "You are not supposed to be here. You have been exiled from this land, and you still are."

My shock turned into hurt and anger. We had an uncle? Since when did we have an uncle? Why haven't I heard of him? I was supposed to be the Alpha after my father, so I think I should know.

"What? No, hello? How are you?" He scoffed and rolled his eyes. "Figures."

Dad growled a warning. "I-"

"I have an Uncle?" I asked, causing both of them to look at me. I looked between them, and I saw Grandfather's jawline on both of the two men. I also saw the very same green eyes on both men and knew that they were from my grandmother's side of the family. I frowned and looked at my father. "Since when?"

Rufus laughed and shook his head, amused about my behavior. "Oh, Brother, you didn't tell her about me, didn't you?" He smirked. "Well, I guess I have to do it."

"Don't-"

"No," I said, interrupting him, again. I folded my arms across my chest and looked at my father, feeling the anger and the need to punch something. "I want to hear about this... uncle of mine. I have to work with him. Or have you forgotten?" I raised an eyebrow, waiting for him to correct me or anything.

My father glared at me, and I could feel his power and ranking showing through. "Do you dare to defy your Alpha?" His voice was menacing, waiting for me to comply with his wishes.

I stood taller and let some of my power and rank show through. One thing that I've learned from my father was never back down from a fight, when I was fighting for something that was right. And right now, knowing about my new family member was the right thing to do.

For about four minutes, that was all that had happened. We battled for control, trying to get the other to back down. However, we didn't back down from the other. We were both that stubborn.

Finally, Dad backed down with a huff. "Tell her, then," he said, coldly. "Tell her the lies you told us." He turned away from us and walked to the other side of the cave, going into the shadows. His whole back was stiff, and I knew that he was being a sore loser.

"It is the truth, Brother. Everything that I had said and done was the truth. Yet, you didn't believe me. You didn't believe your own brother. Now, guess what? He has gained more power and now, your own flesh and blood has to face him. He will kill her." Rufus gestured towards me, while my father just growled and shook his head.

I glanced at my father before I looked at the man that I might have to call my uncle. "Don't mind him," I said. "He is a sore loser. I get that from him."

Rufus nodded his head and smiled. "Understood." He nodded his head, again and sighed. "This isn't the first time that Judah has tried to take power of being Alpha away from your father. As you all ready know, Judah is power hungry. He wants to be the Alpha of this pack and other packs that don't belong to our bloodline. He wants to make all the rules and have all the Werewolves to follow under him." He shook his head and sighed, sadly. "He was my best friend. We did everything together, and I was the first to notice that Judah was not all right in the head. He would always end up trying to sneak on your father's Alpha training."

"My father would give him a lashing every time he did that and every time he got caught," Dad added. He turned to look back at us, staying in the shadows. His green eyes showed through, letting us know that he was watching us. "However, he kept on doing it. He didn't learn, even after my father had made him run the whole pack grounds 15 times."

Rufus grunted and nodded his head. "One day, your father met your mother when they were to be mated a couple of days later. Judah instantly fell in love with her. However, like I said, she was to be mated to your father. Judah was heart broken when he had heard that, and he had told me that he was going to kill her. He had asked me to help him in the beginning, and I said I'll think about it. I knew that I was going to have to get information and then bring it up with your father. However, Judah had done something and almost killed her. I was there and pulled her out of the way so that she wouldn't get hurt or worse, killed. Judah had seen this and went to my brother. He told him that I was planning on killing his mate and then taking over the pack."

He snorted and shook his head. Tears seemed to prick his eyes, but he held them in. "Fane believed Judah. He knew that I was being very secretive around him, which made him suspicious of me, but it was all to see what Judah was up to. However, he didn't care and banished me from the pack. Countless times, I've had tried to contact him but to no anvil. He wouldn't listen to me or to reason. Now, I guess he had figured it out, and you have to pay the price of killing your mother."
