To fade into the stars,

To crumble onto the earth.

To whisper in the wind.

That is my dream.

To watch from above,

While holding you up,

And keep you alive.

I want to be your heart.

I want to be your soul.

That, which we all have, unifies us.

I want to shine... with others.

To stand out but never alone.

A diamond among gems.

But we are all valuable.

To be the top or bottom,

That is not important.

That we are one, pressed together.

That is important.

To guide others,

And never keep to ourselves,

All we have to offer.

One thing I want to be.

One thing I aim express.

Unity, in all it's frightening glory.

This poem is inspired by the new president elect. That his coming into power will inspire this within us.
