9. Leave him alone

Time & date: 11 am 23rd June 2016

Isabella's view:

I've only been in the school for a little over a month now and I already made a few friends. The females in my grade were so nice to me. Even the so-called "popular girls" in the grade thought I was cool, which I never got from my old school.

At my old school, the popular girls always thought they were higher than everyone else, thinking the rest of us as their minions. Making us get things for them or do things for them. They only always kept to their little circle of 5. They never even wore the school uniform correctly, rolled skirts higher than the knee, shirts tight as hell showing their physique, if any tighter the shirt would rip... Not like they were the prettiest girls in school, I mean come on. There were prettier girls in school who should've been in their place. Up to now I never understood why everyone at the school liked them and their snobby ways. I was surprised that these stunningly beautiful girls at my school liked me so much and wanted to hang out with me.

The 'popular/cool' girls of the school invited me to hang out with them at a cafe called "Cafe of the west" at noon. This cafe was on the corner of Bundaberg Street & Catapult Street which was approximately 20 minutes or so away from my home.

It was already 11 pm. I had woken up late, sleeping right through my alarm like usual yet here I was standing there in front of my walk-in wardrobe for a long while now looking through my clothing trying to pick out something appropriate and pretty to wear.

I decide to wear light blue skinny ripped jeans with a light pink blouse, and a matching blue scarf, not bothering to do anything with my hair except brushing it out & leaving it down. I grab my credit card & phone walking out of my room running down the stairs.

"Where are you going sweetie?" mum asked after I reach the bottom of the staircase.

"To meet some of my friends at the cafe mum, remember I told you this last week," I answered swiftly with a smile as I grab my car keys on the way out, excited to meet my friends.

As I walk on the pathway all I hear is a voice yelling out "HEY YOUNG GIRL! Yes you, I need a word with you." It made me turn to see who it was that was calling me and to my surprise I see Vamp.

Dear Lord, what does this man want? I'm in a hurry.

"Can I help you, sir?" I asked walking over to the fence eyeing the man who looked pretty serious but also pretty angry at the same time.

"Yes. Yes, you can," he spoke with annoyance.

"Tell me then. I'm waiting," I said wondering what he wanted.

"You can do me a favour and leave my brother alone," he demanded a serious look on his face.

"Leave Mark alone? I think not. What the hell do you mean by this? And why?" I asked furiously getting ready to knock the man out getting real tired of his attitude.

"I mean never speak to him again. Not even look at him. No nothing. Because if I catch you make any contact with Mark, I won't be so nice about it" He spoke rudely.

"Ok, listen here. If Mark wants to talk to me I ain't gonna stop him. You don't have any right to tell me who I can and can not speak to, you ain't my father, you ain't my brother. I'd understand if Mark spoke to me saying such things to me but this coming from YOU. I won't listen unless your brother comes and says this to me. I don't understand why you don't like me so much and I never bloody will. Now you have wasted my time so gotta go" I said furiously walking away flipping my middle finger his way knowing he'd be still looking as I unlock my car, getting in and driving off. The tires screeching as I speed off leaving small black tire marks on the road and the smell of burning while I drive off.

Who the hell does this man think he is to tell me such things? I won't stop someone from speaking to me just because their family says so, no way!

I was halfway to the cafe, already the streets were busy and bustling. People walking on the streets, laughing and talking, children running around, playing and laughing. The scenery with all the trees & houses was a beautiful sight to see. The light's were red so I stopped, I was the first in line on the lights, my music blasting through the speakers.

As the lights turned green I started to drive when out of nowhere I hear a screech and the smell of rubber burning filling the car and then a semi-trailer coming for me before I could even react...
