Ash gets a ragdoll cat

He's Ash's therapy cat and is super sweet and ahhhhh I just love ragdoll cats ❤️❤️❤️

Sadly the cat doesn't get to live forever... it is only a cat, after all ;-;

Ash gets the cat as a surprise during his recovery after he's brought to the Capital. He walks in the room with Cloud and there's a bunch of kittens and a few other people but he ends up picking up every kitten and placing them all on Cloud and the last cat is a ragdoll so he picks it up and starts petting it and gets attached and awww 😍😍😍

Cloud probably gets jealous of the attention Ash gives the ragdoll but he knows that the cat is helping Ash regain his confidence so Ash can actually go somewhere without needing someone to be with him.
