Chapter 1
Dear Diary,
The fact that my nephew is attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry is no surprise. I attended there myself a few ways back. Ok, a thousand years ago, to be precise. I miss it there. All of my friends from there are long gone because well...they don't live forever, unlike me. Staying young for an eternity isn't all it's cracked up to be. With my, transformation, I lost any magical ability I had. Yet, I still remember everything I was taught about magic. Shortly after my...changing...I was deeply and utterly depressed and mortified at what I had become. It took a while for me to get back on my feet and embrace my new life.
Anyways, the newest generation in my family is finally in his first year of Hogwarts. I love him dearly but sometimes he has trouble with his attitude and manners, ha, much like his father.
*Time skip*
Dear Diary,
Well, he's completed his first year at Hogwarts and is about to start his second. I'll be going with him and his father to Diagon Alley to retrieve new school books. I-
"Aunt Melody!" My nephew, Draco, shouts up to me from two floors down. I sigh and close my diary. As soon as my feet hit the floor I speed downstairs and startle my nephew. "For Pete's sake Melody! Scare me why don't you!" Draco says, obviously annoyed. I chuckle slightly as his father and also my nephew, Lucius Malfoy saunters into the parlor of Malfoy Manor. His long hair that I beg him to get cut is hanging around his shoulders.
"Draco if you're frightened by your Aunt..." Lucius stops mid-sentence. I'm giving him a stern look.
"It is perfectly alright to be fright-" I start before my youngest nephew interrupts me.
"I WASNT FRIGHTENED! She just, caught me off guard is all..." Draco shouts then leaves the room.
I glare at Lucius before rolling my eyes in their sockets and following Draco to Diagon Alley.

I did need a new owl. My owl Eosa, died last week. Horned owls, Great owls, Snowy owls. I finally settle on a Great Horned owl that I name Orica. Standing at the other end of the Alley is the bookstore I seen Draco head into. I brush the hair away from my right ear as I listen to my nephews.
"You are very brave to speak his name..." Lucius says. I lose my concentration to pay for my new owl. I send Orica back home then speed into the bookstore and stand behind Lucius. "Muggles, aren't they?"
"And they are just as good as you," Lucius turns around to reveal my slim figure to the others. I turn to my nephews with a stern stare.
"Me-" Lucius starts.
"No! See here! Just because we are a pureblooded, Slytherin family does not mean you have to act like Salazar Slytherin. Muggle-born, halfblood or pureblood, we are all witches and wizards," I gaze at Draco," Draco, You still have school supplies you have yet to purchase. Move along," I finish my short lecture. Draco nods slightly.
"See you in school." My youngest nephew calmly says to some classmates. Lucius stays put.
"Lucius Malfoy, must I repeat myself? Move. Along," I say threateningly. Lucius takes one last glance at the people behind me before following his son.
