Jessica's POV

"not funny, Hannah," I growled. I had been dared to stand in the suns rays. No it didn't turn us the ash the sun's UV rays weren't strong enough, but we didn't like it - so hell I didn't like the sun as a human, I freaking hated it as a vampire! 

"it is SO funny!" Hannah giggled like a little child. She had that kind of laugh when she's laughing at something stupid, it really is a sign that something either a) annoying b) stupid or c) crazy is going on.  

Right, so I was dared to stand outside in the sun, and they'd LOCKED ME OUT. now I was cowering the shadows, trying my very hardest to not let the sunlight touch my skin. 

"you will pay for this, Hannah!" I cried. Right when she let me back inside, she was for it... 

"you keep saying that, Jessica, and I've never once seen you actually do it," she told me. 

It was true. I could threaten just fine, I could threaten to cut your stomach so you didn't die and make you eat the intestines, I could now threaten to make you eat your own heart... but I never actually did them.  

"I swear Hannah, if you don't let me back in RIGHT NOW," I began, but it was then I felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist and I was lifted off the ground, tossed over someone's shoulder like a sack. 

It didn't take a genius to figure out it was Vincent, because a) he was obsessed with putting me into that position, b) his black hair was in my face and c) only he would dare throw me over there shoulder with no hesitation. 

"Vincent," I didn't even bother pounding my fists on his back, I was sick of trying, he was the oldest vampire and he was strongest, so I just folded my arms across my chest. "I dare you to keep me in this position," I threatened. 

"OK," Vincent told me, his voice ruff as if he was in a bad mood. 

"VINCENT GET OFF OF ME I DIDN'T GIVE YOU PERMISSION TO-" 

"hey, hey, calm DOWN. Nah, this isn't even about me. It's about Katy." 

Oh crap. What the hell had she done this time?

Katy's POV 

"that's not fair!" I howled, my head up in a scowl, angry. I didn't like how William was looking at me with a smirk on his face. 

"it's not funny!" 

"will you calm down, Katy? We just need you to teach Jessica how to fly, that's all," Jacob told me. 

"what if I refuse to?" I asked, crossing my arms. William gestured around the limo. 

"you're not really in a predicament to say 'no'." he told me. I huffed. 

"you're my brothers," I told them, and I raised my voice like a whining child, "you're supposed to be overprotective and kind, fighting and bullying but at the same time thoughtful and I think Vincent's got mischief done, Jacob handles kind and caring and William tea parties and dressing up like princesses-" 

"wait a second," William held his hand in the air. "I did that when to were, what, 3? I am a grown man and you are a grown lady, I do not dress up like princesses!" 

"unless you'd like that," Jacob winked and I gasped, making my voice go all high and babyish. 

"INSEST! I'm you're sister, dick head! of course I don't bloody want that!" I make a puking act and bowed at the end, making William chuckle. 

"anyway, back to the original point, you will be teaching Jessica how to fly seeing as you do such a marvellous job of getting away from US," 

I smirked at a memory that popped into my head.

Flashback 

"Katy slow down! Vampire speed isn't keeping up with you, you're going far too fast!" 

All 3 of my brothers chased me along the country road. It was easy, really - they weren't anywhere near me, and gliding around on a tornado was so easy... 

"KATY!" they called, they just couldn't catch me and I was way ahead, they were ultimately failing this race and I was proud. William is extremely fast and you wouldn't guess it but he's super competitive.

Flashback over

"anyway, I'll do it," I told them. There was no use complaining, I may be fast but I wasn't getting out of this one using speed. 

"great!" Jacob grinned. "it's a good job you agreed, because we're here."

Jess's POV

I felt my body being thrown across the room, before a crashed into the concrete wall and get this - I must be badly overweight or Maryam's really strong cause I made a dent!!! 

Maryam had found me as was beating me up bad, I almost had full energy and once I did I'd cast my special attack. 

"tell me!" she shrieked, but once again I shook my head, and a claw slashed through my throat. I felt warm blood flow out of my mouth as she hit a punch on my chin. 

"this'd all be over-" Maryam told me, repeatedly punching me in the stomach as I used a small healing spell to keep me going whilst my energy charged up. 

"-if you'd just tell me-" she stopped punching and tore my tank top. I growled at the exposure of my skin, this factory building was cold!  

"-where the hunter is!" Maryam finished, whipping blood from my mouth and licking it. Werewolves may not be vampires but they are bloody creatures and they often taste blood to show how strong and powerful they are. 

I checked my energy desperately and found myself releasing the breath I'd been holding when i knew I had full energy. 

Suddenly there was a rumbling noise. Maryam's ears pricked up at the sound, her face held a fixed frown. Suddenly the walls gave way and in came a sunarmi. Maryam shrieked - we didn't naturally get sunarmi's in this country (sorry if I spelt sunarmi wrong) so it was a shock. 

The huge wave was coming in from behind me, but I made it cave around my body and miss, whilst it caught Maryam full blast. She screamed as she was carried away by the tide, and I nodded to her. 

"see you soon, Maryam. I'll stop the sunarmi a few miles out, k?" I told her, and she glared at me as she was driven away. 

I grabbed my necklace and headed back to my house.
