Chapter 7

Hillary's POV

I'd been listening to the conversation for a while, but when the time came around to be lifted out of my glass case I grew nervous. Had I forgotten how to breath?

I slapped myself mentally. Of course I hadn't forgotten how to breath. I was breathing right now. I was just getting paranoid over nothing.

I opened my eyes to find a man drawing me out of my glass box. Nerves started to take me over, and I felt sick to my core. All I knew was that I couldn't let him take me away.

I blinked and then I was bleeding... bleeding all over him. His hands were red and thick with my blood, but when I blinked again everything was fine.

I held on tightly and shut my eyes tight, fighting off the urge to scream. Okay, so he could take me. Anything was a better alternate to staying there. He carried me off.

When I opened my eyes again I was in a room full of crystal white beds. I shivered. Hospital beds - but there were only 3. Hannah was in one. Jessica had been carried in just before me and was now being lowered into a bed.

She hammered on the man's shoulder but he just lay her down and drugged her. I shivered. Was this what happened when you were kidnapped?

I was laid on a bed and given a glass of water and took a sip, but immediatly sleep overtook me and darkness soon followed.

Jessica's POV

5 hours earlier.

I sat on a car seat. It was luxurious and, even though it was a car seat, the nicest seat I'd ever sat on in my life. I lay still, keeping quiet, listening. There were 2 seats in front of me, one by my side and 2 more rows behind that. Was there anyone behind us?

I instantly recognised Vincent by my side. But who were the other two?

I lay still as Vincent stroked my hair. All I could think of was what he could do to me. I didn't think I was going to enjoy this...

The man behind the wheel spoke.

"Are any of them awake?"

"No," Vincent replied.

"Good. We'll be arriving shortly. We just need to-"

Suddenly the car hit another, and the man on the left screamed "Shit!"

I instantly recognised to girl in the car as my sister, Georgina. She had a sword and she wore an elegant suit.

All I could was how crazy things had suddenly gotten. This wasn't right, that couldn't be my sister. She wasn't involved in all this...

Georgina jumped out of the car and flung herself inside, grabbing my collar. I flinched as she pulled me out, the door frame scratching me. I was losing blood, fast. She dropped me to the ground and shot Vincent, who cowered.

"Shit, it's the vampire hunter," the boy behind the wheel scowled, running around the back of the car. Vincent fell to his knees.

Georgina grabbed the girl in the second part, then the third. They both got dragged and hit, and the car smelt of blood. I turned away and felt my own blood draining slowly.

I fell unmoving.

--------------------------------

I dreamed of the memory. Obviously the boys had won the fight, because we were here. Where was Georgina? Was she OK?

What had they done with her?

William's POV

I waited impatiently in my office. When the vampire hunter had attacked us, my main aim had been to protect Hannah - but then the vampire hunter was trying to help the girls.

The more I thought about it, the more it made sense. The vampire hunter's wouldn't want 'innocents' to get involved, but it was silly of them to think for even a second that we would ever stop searching for our mates.

The weapon she'd shot Vincent with was a vampire hunters gun, and it did serious damage to vampires. Silver bullets wrapped in titanium, which was extremely weakening to vampires, and it was marked with the vampire hunters mark - a deadly sign.

If it wasn't for his princely qualities, Vincent would defiantly be dead by now - it was a miracle he'd survived.

The vampire hunter was down in the dungeons at the moment, refusing to tell us anything. We didn't know who she was or why she'd come - and if she didn't talk soon she'd be charged a death penalty for attempted murder of a royal.

It wasn't even in self defence.

I gripped my head and averted my attention to Hannah. She really had looked amazing last night... the dress was perfect. It was a shame though, it had been torn during the attack.

Suddenly a maid came rushing in, a happy face on, telling me she was bringing good news.

"Sir William, sir, Hannah is awake. She is in the hospital wing and will be ready when you wish to see her."

"Thank you," I told her, and she left, practically skipping. The maid's had this rota where whenever they had to tell one of us news the next one on the list would bring it - bad or good. So it was just luck, and this maid had clearly got lucky.

I sighed. Should I visit Hannah right away? There was a lot she had to take in... and another question was, would she accept that she was mine, by blood? She took my blood 3 times. She touched it, via a white rose. She was mine.

I decided I'd go. I'd go, and I'd tell her everything.

This was a really short chapter, I know, but I felt I had to explain the white roses with the blood on bit. I hope you enjoyed the chapter and I will update soon ^_^
